The single room was very comfy with a large bed. The personal is very welcoming. But what impressed me the most is how they helped me when I had to go to the ambulance one night after arrival at the hotel because of a thrombosis. They brought me all my luggage that I had left unpacked in my room because I was not expecting being hospitalised. They even reimbursed me the next night. This was such a wonderful experience and shows how much they care about their customers.

The hotel was ideal for what we wanted.

Perfectly positioned for all sights in Okayama. Can walk or metro to castle and garden and direct bus to Naoshima- all very easy. Also easy to find places to eat in station.

At checkin I didn’t like being offered a better room at extra cost before seeing the one we had booked. We were only offered breakfast at 5000 Yen, which we thought was expensive and declined; the less expensive continental breakfast was not mentioned at all. There was no information on what one gets to eat for either type of breakfast.

The location was perfect, the room very comfortable, The standard of the cleaning service and hygiene was exemplary. Continental breakfast was very nice.

Convenience of location attached to the Okayama JR station. Well appointed room with 344 SQ ft. Very comfortable. We dropped off our bags at noon. By the time we returned, they had been brought to our room. Friendly staff.

Bathrooms were a bit dated. Breakfast (which was included in our particular room rate) was fair, but convenient and quick.

We stayed at this hotel as a quick 1 night stopover enroute to Tokyo. It's connected to the Shinkansen rail station and a food court which was tremendously convenient. The rooms were adequate, clean and functional. Location could not be beat.

The staff were very helpful and brought our luggage up to the room for us. They explained the features of the hotel. The hotel is right near station a perfect location to travel to next destination Naoshima Island. The shopping centre within station had provided plenty of choice for dinner and shopping.

Super convenient location just next to the station if travelling by train with large suitcases. The personal is very nice ans kept the suitcases until our checking later in the afternoon. Breakfast buffet was very good ( western and japanese). Room was clean, comfortable ( we did book a larger room).

I've never been disappointed by a stay at this hotel.

As the hotel was attached to the train station, Shinkansen stop, tram stop, and bus terminal, access to transportation was fantastically convenient. The hotel is classy, and the staff were friendly and accommodating, as one would expect in a high end Japanese hotel. Within a short walk is a mall with two entire floors of restaurants, and that's not counting the food court. The station is also well equipped with dining options, a grocery store, and two convenience stores. Nearby is a DonQi, an Animate/Lashingbang, and a very large BIC Camera, with other large stores within a 1km walk or short tram ride. It's easy to meet people at various landmarks in and around the hotel, including the Momotaro statue. The rooms are amazing; unusually large, if a bit dated, and ours had a beautiful view of the station and the surrounding area, with mountains in the distance. Day trips via Shinkansen to places like Himeji, Onomichi, etc., are painless.

Arrived early and I have to go visit some family I asked them keep my suitcase till I come back they can nit check me in but they took my information and when check in time come they did for me and my suitcase was in my room

The staff are friendly and professional. The buffet food is excellent. The location is perfect. This is an unusually good hotel. JR can be relied upon to provide good quality and good value. And the staff cannot do enough to help you.

The location of this hotel next to the train and bus station makes it very convenient for travellers. The hotel is close to many restaurants and cafes - Okayama is great town for food and artisan wares.

The room was rather simple but you do not need much when you can walk to the large train station in 2 minutes without leaving the building!

I received an international phone call after I had checked out. The staff told me that we had left something behind and offered to send them to my next destination by courier. Attention to the detail and she did not have to but she cared...
