The only downside is the AC in the bedroom literally blowing to your face when you sleep…

There is a common area with an open kitchen where you can prepare your own meal. They have all basic tools and cutlery, plates, cups. Location is okay, still need to drive to the beaches around but after dinner, we took a nice walk back to the hotel which was nice too. The married couple owner is so nice and made it feel like home and they are very flexible unlike those traditional Japanese hotel where they have a lot of rules.

This was not a problem for us. But there are many stairs in the guest house.

The Guesthouse have been fully renovated by a young couple with a baby. They 're super nice and helpful. They speak english. The view from our room was beautiful. You can't rent paddle boards and snorkling gear at the Guesthouse. We enjoyed the location. We took the shore walk to the Aquarium and to Nabatehama Beach.

Not a problem for us in particular, but be aware that the guesthouse is on a hill and that there are a few staires inside the building as well. Thus it‘s not barrierfree.

This guesthouse just had opened in Spring 2021 (after a GRAND renewal), so everything was shiny new and clean. The owners, a young couple, were exceptionally friendly and helpful, you could feel that they are trying their best to make this stay as comfortable as possible for us!

The property was amazing! Great location for easy access to the many beaches around the area. The owners were some of the nicest people I’ve met in my 3 years living here in Japan! Will definitely be back next time we take a trip!

Wi-Fi in the room, but near reception & share room it was better.

The staff were amazing and we loved the SUP & snorkeling. Great view from the room! We didn’t try BBQ this time, but looked gr8. One thing to remember you have to pay 200 yen for fluffy, fresh bath towels. Highly recommend.

In the entire trip, there were only two things that I feel were slight negatives. They did not impact me significantly, but they may impact others. 1) the blinds in the twin room were not particularly effective at blocking out the sunlight in the morning. They did block it, but if you are used to/need complete darkness to sleep you may struggle. Since we were constantly exhausted from the day I slept like a rock at night, but both mornings awoke at 6am because of the sunlight. Which ended up being a positive because I got more time to spend out and about. 2) there wasn't a toilet brush for cleaning the toilet.

Amazingly friendly owners, and beautiful accomodation. We booked the twin room and the en suite shower and toilet were very clean and usable. The room and the entire building were kept very clean and tidy. The shared common area is lovely to relax or drink in, the BBQ deck is great, and the kitchen is well equipped if a bit cramped (perfectly normal in Japan). The owners are lovely people who are very helpful, very enjoyable to chat with, and give a lot of advice and information about local spots. They also speak a decent degree of English for those of you who may not be able to speak Japanese.

It's a very nice place, but there is a short hill to climb to get to the Hotel and stairs to get to your room. It was a very good exercise to up & down those stairs. I'm over 50, so it was good cardio for me.

No meal was available, had to either bring your own meal or cook your meal in the kitchen facility. But, they had all the utensils to cook with. There are many restaurants around the area. Overall, the owner was great, the living condition was very clean, and they an area to park your vehicle.

The accommodation is situated on a slippery tilted slop that makes reaching it an escalating challenge, that further continues with the inside stairs (if you are lucky to get the 3rd floor room you will need to escalate some 70 degree angle deadly stairs). Don't expect to sleep late, because the isolation of the room lacks, so if you are even more lucky to have some rude and loudly neighbours with badly raised children that run all over the corridor, then all the earplugs in the world won't do any good (which the owner generously offers you for free). The towels are not included, which is stated clearly from the start, but after renting one we didn't expect to stink the way it did. The beds were situated 10 cm above ground level and squeaked loudly every time you moved a finger.

The window view was gorgeous and the room very clean. But that's pretty much everything, so if you plan to sit all day on your feet in the tiny room enjoying the window view, then go for it. Good Wi-Fi. The owner offered a beach tent to freely rent which we were gratefull. The host spoke a bit of English which was a refreshing nice surprise for Japan.

No staff were there to help with check in. When they messaged me initially they asked what time I would arrive and I told the around 3pm still they did not mention that there would be no one there. They sent a message 2 hours before we arrived but the area has poor connection so I did not get the message, my son and I had no idea what to do once we got there, it took us an hour to work it out, then we found the key in the cabinet and went up to the room, it smelt of insect spray and when we tried to turn the air conditioner on it didn’t work. We waited another half an hour for any staff to make an appearance and still no sign, this was 3:30 which was check in time. Other guests arrived also and had no idea what to do so just sat with their luggage downstairs in the heat waiting. I then decided to leave and go to our next destination. It would not be difficult to have one staff member present at checkin. When I messaged them to tell them this they continued to reply with excuses, which is very poor customer service . Anyway they kept my money even though I did not stay

Big disappointment was a strong smell of plastic / linoleum (?) in the room. Since the staff was so nice it really isn't easy to write this, but it did affect our stay very negatively.

Loved the staff, super friendly and nice! Great tips. Thew view and location is nice, too. Overall facilities clean and comfortable.
