I booked a private room here and it was great! Very spacious, tons of closet space and the futons were very comfy. The owner is awesome, very helpful, and he has great recommendations. I was not expecting the quality and size of the rooms. The location is also great. It's right next to the main streets, but in a quiet enough neighborhood that there's not a noise problem.

Staff so lovely and carry the luggage up for you. Music on in the evening creates a nice atmosphere in the shared area. Beds are comfortable and you have your own space. Close to train station and everything else you need!

Everything. Hosts were great. Beds were comfortable. My room was on 2 floors above G level but host helped me bring my luggage up and down during check in and out. Place has microwave, coffee for free and a working kitchen with fridge etc.

The mattress was way too thin. It felt like sleeping on the floor. The room could use some decoration, it was a bit sad. When you arrive, you have to make your bed…

Walking distance from the station! Clean toilets and showers. Nice staff and good kitchen !

Simple place with flat decoration without too many frills. But the place was very clean, the kitchen well equipped, the place comfortable, good location and the staff attentive, helpful and pleasant. I had a brief but good stay at the place. Highly recommended.

Check in was 2pm, I arrived early and could only left luggage. There were only 2 of us staying that night so plenty of empty beds

Great location from the train station and easy walk to the morning market, castle and Higashiyama. Powerful shower cubical it sooth my knack after a long day walk in the cold

The owner is very nice. The place is not too far from Kanazawa station. You can also easily walk to omicho market. As for the room, it was clean and exactly as advertised.

Stairs are a bit steep, it was difficult to bring heavy luggage all the way down.

Hostel is near the station, so that's a big plus. Beds are super comfy, although the curtains don't give you 100% of privacy. Host is very friendly and gives you lot of advices about the city.

There was a light constantly on in the women's only room so that people could access their suitcases if needed. I suggest bringing eye coverings if you need it to be dark when sleeping.

Wonderful hostel in a great location! The beds were comfortable and the facility was clean. I think this is a great place to stay in Kanazawa.

I stayed here for two nights during the weekday. I was the only guest and travelling alone. The owner Fumio-san made for excellent company and his recommendations for sightseeing and food were top notch! Facilities were clean and the main sightseeing spots are all within walking distance.

Walls are a bit thin, and doors slam very loudly if other patrons don't pay attention. There is a house rule you have to accept when you arrive, to keep quiet and be mindful of others, so this is handled well.

Host is very friendly and helpful. The location is central, close to the station, market and the loop-bus stop. Lots of restaurants and bars in the vicinity. Furniture in the common room is very nice. Ideal for single travellers to.

The owner is a great guy that knows another and happy to assist with everything. The place is clean, has a usable kitchen, not far from the train and bus terminal and to the castel and gardens. Great place!

The toilets were uncomfy and a bit crowded at times, I thought it would have been better to have more than one toilet and shower place instead of a big one for everybody. Anyway, everything still worked perfectly.

The room was very cozy and felt private, even if shared with a lot of people. The curtains allowed a good sleep away from light, even if the room had some light on for people coming in at different time. I thought that was clever!

Everything was so clean and the location of the guesthouse is so convenient!! super near to the attractions as well as some very wonderful restaurants! Also, the owners are so sweet and friendly, and so dedicated to helping you!
