The check out time states 10am in the booking site however 11am in the welcome booklet so there was a bit of confusion there. Otherwise everything perfect.

Everything was so beautiful and lots of detail. I love that there was bikes and surfboards included.

Great location near the Great Buddha. A beautiful wooden Japanese house with very friendly owners. Cannot recommend enough! They answered all our questions and recommended some very good vegetarian restaurants. Also close to the sea and an amazing bakery.

Very helpful guide and super kind service from the staff. The house is very beautiful and comfortable with amazing location. Went there with my parents and we loved it! We walk to the house with big luggages from Hase Station with ease. And it takes only few minutes to walk to Lawson, the sea, and other cute cafes(Paso coffee shop is a MUST for those who love filter coffee). Recommended!👍🏻✅

We had a fabulous time at the property. The host was attentive and the place was spotless. It's a bit like a hidden gem. We should have stayed longer.

Best location you could ever find in Kamakura. Central to seaside, train station and cultural sites.

As with any Japanese countryside house, sometimes insects go into and out but they are harmless. Just addictive to the true Japanese countryside living experience.

Japanese traditional tatami mattress smells so good. So comfortable sitting on it and with summer breeze from the south face courtyard enjoyable. Japanese incense and kourou provided. Rooms well decorated with flower, cleaned hardwood floor, very spacious and clean toilets (one both floor), well equipped kitchen and large fridge, washing machine with dryer, two showers with two sets of bathroom tubs. 5 mins to seaside, 3 mins to Hase station, 2 min to Hase temple, 15 mins to Daibutsu, 20 min walking to Inamuragasaki.

Nothing. You just have to know that walls are thin so you have to be careful about sounds, especially with kids.

Even if we came early, the owner welcomed us with a large smile, which is quite unusual! (Even when showing up later in small/traditional hotels in Japan, as an expat family we are used to concerned looks...) They have good pillows (no beads), which we don't see very often! At the end of our stay, he offered to take a photo of us in a key spot of the little hotel, and it will remain a great souvenir of our stay in this traditional ryokan.
