Clean, spacious and comfortable room, wonderful staff, good location, near some tourist spot and train station, away from main street which is good. Walkable distance to the beach. Had a wonderful stay in Kamakura, definitely will come again.

This accommodation was in Hase, near the big buddha and other shrines. It was a quiet place but easy to walk anywhere. Only about 20 minutes away from Kamakura station. I stayed in private room where was a fridge and shower. The staff was friendly and I recommend this stay for your trip to Kamakura. :)

Amazing location, a few minutes from the the Big Buddha and other temples. The room was small but clean and had everything I needed. Sharing the facilities was no problem at all. The staff were really friendly and they have a small bar at the front of the guesthouse which was nice.

Sleeping on the floor is not very comfortable. We probably should have asked for extra bedding.

Good place for a hippie break. The staff is SO friendly and they help me when my flight was delayed to make check in! Rooms are ok and not too small.

it's really a gamble about other guests cause you can hear everything from the walls, they're too thin and anything can be heard from other rooms. I couldn't sleep very well.

location is great, you can quickly visit notable shrines and is not too far form Kamakura station!

When booking the room, it was not very clear that the rooms were not adjoined. I thought we would share a bathroom between the two rooms. I think that’s more the fault of booking.com rather than the property. I chose the sleeping option that was recommended to us. Ultimately the property was very accommodating to our situation. Better coffee/tea/light breakfast options would have made the stay much more comfortable .

Lovely staff, great location! Very clean!

It's just that the bathroom is not in the room, it's a public restroom, which is a bit inconvenient.

The property is about a 5-minute walk from Hase Station. Because there is one less person in the same room, the caretaker helped us reduce the cost, which is very good!

Thin walls so if you are light sleeper you might need earplugs. The mattress was bit too hard/thin for my liking.

Location is good, easy to walk to from train station, place was clean. Each room had their own AC so you can control your own rooms temperature to your liking. Overall great value room.

We stayed in two rooms that were both very very small. It was hard to put the luggage inside… Beds were hard.

Good location near Hase train station. Friendly staff. Common room where it was possible to eat our food and make a good cup of coffee.

Clean, comfortable and quiet. Great location, within a few minutes walk of the Giant Budda, Kamakura Hasedera and numerous cafes, bars and cool shops. I loved the vibe in this part of Kamakura and would definitely stay here again. The bed I slept in was exceptionally comfortable (soft by Japanese standards) and the shower whilst small was functional with good water pressure and temperature. I was travelling by myself and felt very safe and comfortable here. I would also highly recommend the attached bar/restaurant.

    - Pricey based on the room size and shared toilets - Far from the main station but there is another train nearby. - We couldn’t find a restaurant open in the evening (after 8pm) nearby.

    - Very friendly staff - Close to the big Buddha and the beach

The room was not quite what we expected as the booking confirmation (from booking.com) stated that it was a twin room with private bathroom. The twin beds are actually bunks and the private bathroom does not include a toilet. Despite this the room was fine but this could be a problem for some people.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The location was excellent. Very quiet yet only minutes away from great bars and restaurants and walking distance to lots of the local attractions.

There is no shoe rack at the entrance of the hostel so people go in with their shoes in the shared areas

Great location in Kamakura, perfect to visit temples, shrines, great Buddha and close to the commercial area with shops and restaurants Very comfortable bedding, great mattress and steady bunk bed (no movement nor noise) Shower rooms were comfortable and included amenities (shower products + daily towels) Very clean hostel
