Great stay, great buffet

Wonderful onsen with multiple baths (loved the outdoor area and the silky bath). We also had a private onsen that was wonderful for enjoying the crisp morning sunrise. The buffet dinner was amazing and high quality with a range of options for all eaters.

The price! It was super expensive so we limited our time there. Not much to see in walking distance.

For the first time in my life (lol and that says alot) i have absolutely nothing to complain about a hotel.

Everything was perfect. From location next to the ropeway and pirate ship to the food and amenities. The room are very pretty and very comfortable. We have also booked the private onsen as you can't go into the public one with tattoos, but it's common in Japan, so nothing to complain about.

Great hotel and ambiance. Our room was spacious, modern yet spiritual with a private Hakone which was ideal after a tiring day. Also, 5 minute walk from bus tozu line station which is convenient when leaving Hakone. The staff was friendly and polite.

It is important to request a room with the lake view when booking. We had a room with a car park view so on arrival we requested a lake view to which we had to pay extra but it was worthy. Breakfast and Dinner were ok. It was the same selection for the two days that we stayed. Staff were polite and accommodating. The hotel is in a beautiful location and next to Togendai station. I will definitely recommend the hotel.

Not a huge deal but the bath on our deck was too hot to enjoy because it was so deep, and our room was quite a long walk from the main building.

My family (2 adults and 3 kids aged 8-14) loved the public baths and the buffets - they are very oriented to a lot of different food types so everyone found things they enjoyed. The food was delicious and staff were so helpful.

This is just a minor detail but the buffet was exactly the same each day.

Everything was great. The staff is super professional and kind. They thought about every small detail. We booked a room with a private bath, this was the best (we also booked private onsen, but actually this was overkill for us). We loved the food, it was buffet. The location is also great as it was a 2min walk of the Togendai (station where the ropeway and sightseeing ship begins).

It was worth every penny. Beautiful and clean, and the customer service was phenomenal. The breakfast was good but the dinner service was 100% better!

The dinner buffet food was mediocre. We couldn’t not control the room temperature and had to open the window to cool off.

We liked the onsens , especially the Private one, the clean rooms and comfortable beds.

Offering panoramic views of Lake Ashi. High quality decor and furnishings. Excellent onsen facilities. Superb meals. Pleasant indoor and outdoor relaxation areas. Shuttle bus service from Odawara station to the hotel and back.

It was nothing I did not like.

The buffet for dinner was delicious and very representative for the Japan cuisn. The organization of all the guests for eating dinner made good space for every guests during the diner time. The breakfast was as good as the diner. We had hot spring jacuzzi on the balcony of our hotel room. That makes our stay even better. The surroundings close to the hotel was nice, and the view from the footbath area was excellent.

I give food a 8/10. Pasta was way over cooked at dinner (penne and spaghetti), not that I was there for pasta but just an fyi to the resort.

We loved our stay and our room was amazing. We paid extra for a lake view. The onsen was fantastic. Food was good but not excellent.

Quite pricey, however given good location and overall experience would say worth it as a treat for a night. The breakfast buffet could have had more variety for western palates, but dinner very good. Two small complaints only - there were stains on my pillow case and some cleaning cloths left on the floor, and the shower door fell off its hinges! For a hotel costing £300+ a night would certainly expect these little things not to be missed.

Great location near the ropeway and pirate ship, absolutely stunning hotel and beautifully decorated throughout, with a range of yukatas provided. Private onsen on room balcony a real highlight of the trip!

Having a private onsen in the room is terrific! The room is very spacious for my family of four. The service staff are also very friendly and helpful. My family even went for a foot bath after dinner at the hotel main lobby and had a wonderful time.
