You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

JapanThe main problem is location. The hotel is right on the shimanami kaido, which makes it convenient, but there is nothing in proximity of the place. There is a convenience store at about 10 minute walk, and that's basically it.
The place looks brand new, there is a parking designed for bicycle inside. It is a refurbished Ryokan, the bathrooms are common, which seems definitely the right way to do it in this case: for the price, the rooms are a lot more spacious than what you could expect, with a small living room and a comfortable bed. There is also a small lounge on the first floor, that looks comfortable and underused.

United KingdomHeater is a bit underpowered for the size of room. It was chilly enough in April, so mid winter might be challenging. There are no cutlery or bowls or plates in the dining room. The nearest open convenience store lawsons is 1.8k away, so pick up your food first, if you are passing it en route to the hotel
Functional semi hostel feel to this place. We booked a room with seperate bathroom. The room was enormous with 3 double beds. Microwave and dining area for heating your own meals. Quiet. Convenient for cycling. Check in was all automated and easy to follow.

United KingdomThe property seemed to be prefab built and the walls were very thin, we had very noisy people in the next room.
A great location if you are cycling across the islands. Clean, basic place and it has everything we needed. We heated up our 7/11 meal in the microwave and was able to have hot water. Beds comfy and we had a tiny but very adequate en suite shower room. The self service check in was easy.

United StatesCode was not sent, but it was easy to get. A vending machine for food might be helpful....even cup Ramen. Nearest food seemed to be a mile away. Not a big problem, but be prepared for that. Cyclists get hungry : )
Very comfortable! Nice view from my window. Eating area was nice. I was surprised that the rooms were so nice when the picture of the outside was so bleak.
