The check in with robotic dinosaurs was an insult to me! Fortunately there was a little box on the screen allowing me to press it for "staff assistance" which was from a Japanese speaker trying her best

The check-in system is gimmicky and I didn't care for it. A staff member had to help me check-in as the room wasn't ready yet (was after the check-in time), so might as well have a proper reception. Didn't make life easier by any means.

Great location right next to the train station, the main spots in Nara are all within walking distance and there's a coffee spot across the road (moi tasta) that is lovely!

Near both train stations JR and K, easy check in and luggage storage with virtual/digital. Breakfast was simple but french toast was delicious. clean and very good location. Bath 🛁 tube is an advantage for tired feet

Curtains didn't completely block out the light.

Really just around the corner from kintetsu nara station and bus stops. Also close to electric bike rental shop and hotel slso has bike rental available (not electric it seemed).Luggage storage is available, but it was full for our larger suitcases. The staff were helpful at keeping it for us until the self-service check-in. After struggling initially, it went well. We had booked a slightly larger room, which had a great bathroom area and a small table next to a seat. Soundproof rooms. Very nice cups provided.

Very short walk from the Kintetsu Nara station. Room was spacious compared to other chains in Japan.

The whole experience was automated, so booking in was a bit confusing.. Luckily someone did come out to help us!

Very clean so that was great! I also LOVED the location.Conveniently located to the train, and in the heart of it all. It really was worth staying a night in Nara to get a chance to explore the beautiful town.

I love the fuss-free nature of the fully automated desk. Even when I was unable to store my luggage after checkout due to the system being full, the (human) staff very promptly appeared and manually stored it for me.

Super clean, spacious rooms and big beds compared to the typical twin/double rooms we’ve seen at other hotels. Many things are automated (e.g. check-in done by a CGI velociraptor) but humans were on hand to assist as needed. Lots of additional services like free rental of manga. They also seemed to rent bicycles too although I didn’t use them. Great location within a 15 min walk to the station, Nara park, Todaiji

As is typical in Japan, the room is very small with little room to navigate. The bed takes most of the floor space.

The location is 3 minutes from the train station and a short walk to the major shopping and restaurant districts. We were able to do our entire 2 night Nara visit to the major attractions by foot from this location. When we had a problem at check-in (due to booking 2 rooms under one name and not realizing it) a staff person quickly came out and corrected our situation then disappeared behind the holograms.

There wasn’t a lot of room for 2 medium sized suitcases.

You don’t meet any staff when you stay at this modern hotel. You are checked in by a dinosaur or a samurai! The rooms are compact, with everything you need for a short stay. Good lighting, comfortable beds and a fantastic deep (if short) bath.
