Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

United StatesThere's no better location in town. The hotel sits across the moat from Hikone castle, and commands some excellent views throughout the building. In the two weeks spent on the road in Japan, this was the most comfy bed during my travels. Breakfast was very good, and the hotel's accommodations were very comfy. The hotel leans a little more traditional than the rail stop hotels I'd been staying at, with scuffs provided for moving around the room's wood floors, and geta & yukata for taking a trip to the spa or observation floor.

South KoreaUnless you book ahead for the dinner at the restaurant, there’s not many places to eat nearby. I had to walk back to the train station to find something to eat and a 7 eleven. Due to lack of planning on my part, I didn’t take advantage of feeling like a spa resort, and I didn’t get a massage or anything like that.
As soon as I arrived, I felt like a VIP! It’s the fanciest hotel I’ve ever stayed at, and it felt amazing to be there. Breakfast was delicious, and had a good variety. I loved the apple juice!

Walking distance to everything. Lovely staff. Large buffet breakfast with Japanese and western options. Spa services were outstanding.

JapanI think the smaller rooms could use a bit more rennovation I wish there were a few more fancy rooms that were a reasonable price. Also they should keep a lounge, cafe space open between meals in the restaurants, and the drinks, snacks etc. available should be more variety. The lounge on bath floor is nice but would also be great to have a bar to order from if you want sometning more than the free drinks... Need ice machines at the vending machine area. ASlso since check out is 11am seems like breakfast could be last order at 10 instead of 9:30
Location was great. Staff were very nice. Room and whole hotel were very clean. Breakfast had a nice variety and the gift shop is cute and well stocked.

United StatesOur trip experience was not good at all. We arrived in the afternoon and asked about the restaurant in the hotel. They informed the opening hours and that we can walk in anytime. So this is what we did around 7pm and the staff at the restaurant told us we need a reservation ... The staff never told us we would need a reservation and we could just walk-in. As a result we walked outside to find a place to eat, but at this period of the year at 7:30pm everything is closed. We g back and ask if even the restaurant can fix us scrambled eggs at least to have something eaten before going to bed. It was a no answer. Very disappointed.
The location is good and facility very clean.
