Everything was good, honestly.

It is small and cosy, very easy to meet people becayse the lobby is the common area and the staff is very invoved in presenting people to eschother and amke you feel home :-) the supermaketvis super close and one of the trainstations (JR) is as well. Tje main shopping street starts next to the hostel, so it takes around 15-20min to reach the park, but that is totally fine, cause everything else is so close to the hostel.

Me and my daughter like here very much and the Boss Hiro Sang was so kind and talkative, we've talked many interesting things, I will definitely come back one day to see my old Japanese friend, I rate here as my 5 stars place.

Absolutely Nothing!

If you are staying in Nara, this Hostel is a MUST! The staff are so amazing and kind! The owner personally sat down with me, gave me a map, and told me which places in Nara to visit, and it was a perfect tour of Nara! The location is close to the main street, so there’s lots to do! The rooms were big and the beds were cozy! Everything was very clean! This is the BEST hostel I’ve ever stayed in!

Great location - less than a 5 minute walk from Nara station and within walking distance of the other main attractions! Hilo was an amazing host! Marked out the attractions on a map and gave me recommendations. ¥600 in total for the washing machine and dryer. Free tea and coffee too. Nice little kitchen area. I speak very little japanese, but Hilo has a translator device to help communicate with each other. I definitely recommend staying here!

The staff were so incredible. I was allowed to keep my luggage there before my check in time, and they were nice enough to keep it for a few hours after my check out time while I explored Nara. Location is Fantastic and the Hostel itself is so cute. the night I stayed wasn’t very busy so I ended up being the only one in my room which was amazing.

Hilo was an amazing host! I arrived early in the morning and he let me leave the luggage even before the time we agreed. The hostel is in a perfect position for exploring the main spots in Nara and walking distance from the train station. Everything was clean and you have all you need for a perfect stay. The beds are comfortable and all the facilities are great!

Hilo and his daughter (owners) were welcoming, friendly & helpful.... Hilo hostel is near to main bus & train station, and a short walk to Nara park and main attractions. My bed was cleaned & comfortable, my room had enough space to put things down. Good hot shower, free tea, coffee and cooking facilities. Laundry available too. Thanks for home grown rice & walking my luggage to the station with me Hilo!
