Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

From the informative, friendly, and professional staff to the awesome rooms this is the hotel to stay at in Yokohama! I will be booking with the Hilton Yokohama again next time I visit Japan. The hotel is centrally located and you can walk to two stations on foot.

ItalyIn the room, there is no space to put my clothes and other necessary goods for the stay. This time, as my trail of your hotel, I stayed only for one night but usually I stay at one hotel for one week. So your room is not adapted for the long stay customers but good for short stay (one or 2 nights) customers. And also your room facility is not kind for the people coming from other country with other system of electric plugs. At least you should put adapter in the room. One more point. The toilette and shower/bathtub should be put in separate location if you want to be considered as 5 star hotels.
