Great staff, facilities and the best towel I’ve ever used

Fantastic welcome, lovely host. The bedroom had the most amazing view. There was no restaurant but we enjoyed a wonderful dinner in our room every night. The room was very spacious and the Bath’s were very relaxing. A fantastic stay after a hectic ten days.

Price :) in Europe you can get the sea view but with less price )) Of course without ocean )) or maybe i am poor only )) The staff speaks poor English.

my dear friends, the view from the window is gorgeous. I just wanted to sit in my room and not go anywhere. Floor-to-ceiling windows, a balcony and even the not sunny weather did not spoil the impressions. luxurious dinner in Japanese style. good breakfast - in the room! 👍😃 room so big. But, better have the car. Without car will dificalt. But you will sleep with ocean view and wake up with sunrise... very polite staff, always ready to help you. enjoy, dear friends

The location is not the best if you are traveling without a car.

The staff was so helpful! Thank you so much! I was in low season and it looked like I was the only guest that time and I got an even better room than booked. The sea view from the window and balcony was perfect! I just enjoyed it. My room was so spacious and really big in comparison with regular ones. The furniture was comfortable and in general, the room was clean and with plenty of useful facilities. Breakfast was served in the room and it was a tasty home-like traditional Japanese breakfast.

The hotel is off a winding mountain road which can have a decent amount of fast traffic depending on the time of day. Parking is available but can be a challenge if your car is on the big side. When we arrived there were no slots available in front of the property or the steep alley/hill running down to it, so the owner told us we could park on the "flat bit" off the side of the main road. That actually made it easier for us.

Views from the hotel were gorgeous. And the gentleman - whom I believe was the owner - was very kind and welcoming. We arrived quite late due to delays in travel, but he was incredibly understanding when we called in advance notifying them of this, which was a relief. The room was spacious and the bed was comfortable. The breakfast, which they serve in your room, was delicious too. We also liked the free softdrinks/coffee section.

Finding it was a little hard, especially with googlemaps sending me to the wrong spot but it's my own fault for not accepting their offer to pick me up from the train station or taking a taxi. İt is one hell of a hike to get to, especially if you have 20kg luggage that you have to carry in your arms while traversing the mountain. But once again, it's my own fault, nothing to blame on the hotel. There can be quite a lot of sound that reverberates from the lobby but a simple towel under the door fixes that issue.

Blown away by the size of the room and the astounding views from the room. I can only compare it to one of the high end suites you find for 5x the price of a regular room. Definitely will be staying here again in the future. Breakfast was one of the best hotel inclusive breakfasts I've had in Japan. The staff went above and beyond to provide assistance with anything needed and even dropped me off at the train station after my stay. The beds were super comfortable too!

This hotel exceeded expectations. The view from the room balcony, the comfort, the size of the room, the breakfast - everything was truly lovely.

The views from the room are incredible. And the rooftop onsens too - we particularly enjoyed the private ones, available to all guests. Free drinks and snacks were a plus. There is some construction currently ongoing but didn't affect our stay at all, which was lovely.

A lot of comments on location, so thought I’d put more detail in. The owners have very limited English. Easiest way to get there. Walk along the beach front to the pink house/fish shop. Walk up the alley behind the pink house for about 70 metres. At the sign marking 6.5m above sea level turn left, walk another 70 m up and alley (that looks like a narrow road). You get to a house with a garage underneath and if you look left again there is a smalll concrete path leading up to a flight of metal stairs

The view was amazing and we had the awesome pool all to ourselves. Yip it is 1.3km for the train station but so worth it so stay somewhere lovely, staff were amazing they even gave me free bday beers after some google translate chat. Breakfast was great, and having coffee and free drinks a nice touch One of our best stays in Japan!!

I asked the hotel -via booking.com- how we would get from the train station Usami to the hotel. We got no response. A route description would have been useful since it is almost impossible to walk from the beach to the hotel for the first time. At some point we followed the road for the cars to get to the hotel.

Very spacious room with nice sea view and a good breakfast in the morning brought in your room. It is a small town with a couple of restaurants, bring cash with you - or withdrawn cash by one of the supermarkets-. Good sushi restaurant and sort of Japanese pasta restaurant close by with very friendly owners, communication and menu only in Japanese but google translate is very helpful. The beach has black sand but the water is clear with sometimes some big waves and jumping fish which made it fun and a relaxing place after Tokyo. Also the small pool and the onsen was nice.

The steep way going to the parking and that there’s no coin laundry. It would be helpful to have a coin laundry after going for a swim.

It is quite a hike from the station if you don’t have a car. We had difficulties finding the stairs from the beach area so we went around and took the car route.

The view was amazing. The room was spacious and there were a lot of amenities. The family onsen was great, the pool had a great view, and the bed was comfortable.

There is no phone service to call the front desk. If I want something, I would like to call the front desk from my room. That's all.

Great service with room delivered breakfast. The parking space was quite difficult, but having a parking itself is great.
