Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

CanadaThe stay was wonderful! My boyfriend and I had a wonderful time. The staff were so kind! We asked to be picked up and dropped off at the station and they were so nice to do so. The hotel room was gorgeous ! Very spacious, new and luxurious. We felt very comfortable and pampered. The view from our room was so beautiful. The hotel also has a pool which we look full advantage of and really enjoyed swimming in. Would recommend this hotel to anyone.

United StatesThe shower head was in the center of the shower, idk if it was just our room but it was weird and inconvenient. Also the drain in the tub was in the center too so if you step on it, it will start filling up while taking a shower. Location isn’t terrible but if you don’t have a rental car, you’re walking about 25 minutes from the station and if you didn’t know about the stairs in the back beforehand the hill is terrible and dangerous. There wasn’t that many bathroom amenities and considering how much we paid you’d think there would be more.
Huge room, comfy bed with couch and nice TV. The view we had of the beach was amazing. The balcony was big. Room was very clean. There was free drinks downstairs, as well as silverware if you order food.

JapanThe fittings were very shabbily made and the lack of investment upfront now shows. Everything is roughed up, flimsy and would need a lot of investment to make it what it wants to be. The pool had algae day one. The room had giant insects- a centipede in my slipper, a dead calcified roach on the balcony day one … water heating and Wi-Fi system was very dodgy. No access to decent hot coffee or bottled water. I want to cheer on the manager and his efforts with the lack of staff and manpower, but the establishment is falling down a little.
Manager was very kindly. Room was very spacious.

JapanThe biggest turn-off was the "infinity" swimming pool that looked so nice on pictures had no water in it and seemed completely neglected: this is basically lying to customers with the misleading photos! That pool was the number 1 reason I booked in the first place! Did I mention the attention to detail? Well, absolutely nowhere to put a towel after the shower: no hooks, no towel rack, nada. The shower is in the bathtub, and no bath curtain, so you just spill the water everywhere including on the toilet "conveniently" located in the same unit. No mosquito nets on windows -> room full of bugs. A TV loudly playing some music videos at the hotel entrance is sort of reminiscent of a cheap Thai resort hotel, but well, that's a matter of taste... Staff nowhere to be found.
The hotel seems newly renovated, and all in all, for the price it is quite reasonable. However, it is obvious the owners don't pay enough attention to detail

JapanThey were charging 500 yen for a 350 ml can of kirin beer. Total rip off prices. Make sure you stock up on beers before you arrive.
The room was really big, the bed very comfortable and the views from the balcony were wonderful.
