Unfortunately, this time my room was next to the kitchen. And some Japanese woman cooked there for hours, noisily, not thinking of guests, though I told her!! The same thing the following morning. . ..Some people are very insensitive to other people! Egoistic! But the place is very nice!

There was some device in the room (anti-smoke sth probably) which was constantly flashing. Not much of a problem but it was irritating for me.

Very frictionless. I checked in after 7 p. m. Haven't met anyone but there was a letter for me and I had to fill in a paper. Felt like I was the only person in the hostel but it was fine. Checked out before 7 a.m without meeting anyone at all.

Couldnt sleep only 2 hours each night because lf loud guests. The tap is right as you exit the room so when people wash their hands it is right there. Bathroom noises are loud too. Addressed to the elderly gentleman who said they are completely full and that s it. On top of that got woken up at 4 am by a 'lady' who thought it would be good to jog on the hall. Walk in and out of her room without any reason and just soak her mouth with water.

Hand made bread is very good. Gave a point for it. 0+1 = 1.

Host doesn’t answer any messages on booking. You have to pay to leave luggage over night. After 19h nobody is there any more = we couldn’t grab our luggage any more and had to stay another night.

Proximity to the train station is great. Also it was very clean and nice. Beds are fairly simple. Kitchen is well equipped

The room is not soudproof enough and you can hear clearly people walking outside. What troubles me most is that the sound of people brushing teeth and doing hairdrying can wake you up very early.

- The location is good as it is close (400m) to Mt.Fuji station, where you can go to Kawagakuchi Station and take travel bus there to enjoy lake view. - The place is quite sweet as it's a hostel and the kitchen, toilent and bathroom is shared but well-equipped. - It got useful information at the reception.

I had to keep contacting the owner on the date before check-in by email or on the phone because there was no answer. I finally got a response but no apology about that. I liked the location but I didn’t like the way the owner treated me. I also didn’t like the way the owner allows me to check in at night. I understand the owner tries to avoid human contacts under current circumstances but the owner should have not leave the note which includes a passcode to enter a room I would use on the counter until I arrived there.

There were a few things being repaired here and there. (something you’d expect to be mitigated at a normal hotel, but understandable with the setup of this hotel) The rooms are a bit small for someone who’s 6’1”.

It was very comfortable, and felt like I was home more so than a hotel. The beds were so soft. Oh, and the staff was exceptionally amazing. English is limited, but they know enough to help explain everything. Rooms come with a bath towel and the shower had shampoo, conditioner and body wash. The sink had disposable toothbrush’s. That all helped me pack light for my Trip up Fuji-San. And it’s right across form the bus to the 5th station. It’s also one of the closest hotels to the 1st station, if you wanna hike all of Fuji-San.
