Hotel is very, very clean, they offer you a welcome drink, staff is friendly and kind. Breakfast is amazing! Lots of different options, sth for everyone, and coffee is available all the time in the hotel lobby. Room is spacious (for Japan), and bathroom too! Loved everything!

The main point of interest was the Kenrokuen Gardens, one of the top gardens in Japan. Also close to the hotel was the big covered market.

Very central area close to Omichi market. The best market. Quite a few restaurants around and easy to get around. We visited the Samurai house and the Kenroku-en garden. We bought a one day pass to get around. The city was very quiet and not as stressful as Tokyo. We were recommended a nice sushi restaurant by one person in the reception. The restaurant, Cho-hachi, was on the way to the station from the hotel.

About 10 mins easy walk from Kanazawa station. Room was spacious and clean. We chose the room with two king size beds for three adults. Also had couch, large bathroom and LG Styler closet for refreshing clothes. Used the laundry facilities for ¥500 yen per wash/dry though clothes were damp. You can pay for more drying time. Had the buffet breakfast at ¥1800 each. Plenty to choose from though light on the Western offerings. Staff friendly and helpful. Close to shops and wide range of places to eat including wet market. About 30 min walk to Kenrokuen Gardens. Bus stop in front of hotel takes about 15 mins with short walk. Have the correct fare ¥210 ? as don’t take Suica.

United StatesWe had a wonderful stay. It's spotlessly clean and very comfortable. The room has a great bathroom, it's a traditional Japanese bathroom in that it consists of a deep bathtub and a shower (situated next to the tub). There is a little chair on which you sit and wash yourself/ take a shower before entering the bath. Bath salts are provided for free at the reception. The beds and pillows are firm and good for back support, and it's quiet, you don't hear other guests. The curtains completely darken the room, so we got amazing sleep. I can't stress how clean and well maintained our room was!! Excellent location too, close to the train station and all the sights in Kanazawa.

The Welcome Drinks (wine and sake options) were a nice touch as well! Walking distance from popular attractions in Kanazawa. We stayed for 4 nights and it was one of the most affordable stays we had during our 6-week trip around Japan!
