We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

Amazing staff and just as equally amazing food! Such a fantastic experience. The staff went above and beyond, will definitely be coming back. Plus there is a custard pudding stand not 20ft from the premises, it’s to die for.

A fantastic experience. From the pick up at the station and the super check-in (complete with the 'chose your own yakurta' room) to the fabulous retro/70s room and 2 excellent baths. Service was outstanding, and in particular, Suzuki-san and the front desk and Siina-san at dinner were very helpful. Not a lot of English was spoken, but everyone was happy to use a translator, so this didn't pose an issue. Our room was very spacious, and the double layered futons and excellent quilts made for a cosy sleep. We had dinner on the second evening, which was very good and featured lots of local ingredients. The buffet breakfast included a wide variety of Japanese and Western options. The proximity of Kaminoyama to Yamagata also made it possible to take a day trip to Yamadera to do the temple walk. In summary, if you are looking for a classic onsen stay, then this is a great choice!

Incredible stay, one of the best in my life! Beautiful location, very serene and peaceful atmosphere, excellent and very attentive staff, the breakfast buffet was HUGE and incredibly diverse and delicious, the dinner kaiseki was unique, artistic, beautiful, local, and insanely delicious. The onsens were very nice and relaxing. So much delicate care and thought goes into each stay- the staff would put out our sleeping futons each evening and put them away in the morning for us while we were out, and give yummy treats and refill our ice water tank/hot water tanks and tea. Everyone was so kind and welcoming and even stood by entrance to wave us all goodbye after providing more treats. Would highly recommend to anyone who needs a getaway from the busy hustle and bustle of a big city!

ThailandEverything is good. Just the smell of tatami in the room is strong, but it is ok to me. So bad that it was raining on both days of our stay. I like the way that we can choose yukata by our own.
Even the staff can not speak english, but the did tried their best to serve us. We are very appreciated their service mind very much. I strongly recommend to stay here.
