How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

If you are traveling with big luggage, there is no much space at the room to open them

The bathrooms are tiny but usable. They were very clean and the water pressure was great.
Location - walking distance to all the attractions. Didn't have to take the bus once just walked everywhere during my 3 day stay. Right next to the market where you can get the best sushi. 1.3 km walk to the main nightlife area downtown. Staff were so kind. Free water refills and cheap on-site laundry were great. Room was quite spacious and comfortable with a desk and sitting area as well as a nice bed.

The Internet was a little weak from our bedroom, but enough for simple things
Next to Omicho Market. There is a coffee shop on the first floor where you can do the check-in. Perfect place to visit Kanazawa as it's in the middle of everything.

bathroom is on the smaller size, but this is standard in japan.
the location is very convenient; literally 3 minutes walk from the omisho market where we have sushi and fruit for breakfast. it is also very close walk to the kanazawa castle and the famous park. staff is very nice and friendly; coffee is also tasty in the morning. it has a good size bed as well.

Rooms are well-appointed and stylish. The cafe downstairs served great coffee; I had a ginger latte that was delicious. Having the bikes available for rent was really nice and I wish I would have used one both days I was there instead of just the second. Staff was super nice and welcoming, too!

Really a great hotel. It’s not too far from the station, even though I’d suggest taking a taxi (very cheap and fast). Walking distance from the main attractions, lots of restaurants around. Very friendly staff, coffe shop at the ground floor. Comfy bed, spacious and clean room, quiet at night. I mean, close to perfection. Highly recommended.

Great location. It's behind the Omi-market. not far from the bus stop and shopping mall (Mza, which is so many options of nice foods take a way at basement floor). Hotel entrance has a cute little cafe, and their coffee is very nice. staff are very friendly and welcoming.

The distance from the main station is the only real downside, being a bit of a way to walk, especially with bigger luggages. I think it's well worth it though, there is a lot in the area.
The room was very cozy and had all of the ammenities you could want (hairdryer, bathroom in the room, air purifier and A/C). The staff were definitely the highlight for me, they were super friendly, offered amazing information of the area/travel destinations and served amazing coffee + drinks! They speak both english and japanese, so they can help you learn things too!
