Reception staff didn’t seem very polite

The onsen is AMAZING! Also the room was huge and very modern and good-looking, great value for the money. The hotel has all kinds of facilities inside, including massage rooms and even it’s own konbini (7-Eleven)!

Hotel is away from JR station, and main activity area. We took a bus on our last day heading to station with our winter luggages

Room was a bit small (but price is accordingly low!). The "rush" at the breakfast buffet was a bit unfortunate, but the staff tried to manage as good as possible.

It is rather far from supermarket or JR if you have to walk in the snow. There’s airport limousine passing in front of the hotel though.

The room is spacious. Onsen within the property is so convenient and big. The opening hours also convenient. Our room includes washing machine and kitchen. Breakfast is delicious too. The view from our room is magnificent. Love this hotel so much.

The breakfast dining hall got a little busy in the morning and you had to sit in a separate room. The dining staff was efficient even under the circumstances.

The onsen was wonderful, the breakfast was exceptional with many options including fresh sashimi for breakfast. The kitchenette and washing machine came in handy, especially with the supermarket a block away.

The hotel has a nice and modern entrance and lobby, however tower of where my room located is so old, so does the room. The room has 2 single beds and 2 futons, however we had to set up the futon beds ourselves and only if we know how to do it. The futon bed are too soft and thin, my sons couldn't sleep well as they are not comfy. The room comes with a small kitchen, but limited amenities. There are 4 of us but only has 3 pairs of fork/spoon. Only 3 hangers are provided, not enough to hang our winter jacket. It's a problem when the room comes with washer but not enough amenities to hang the clothes.

The staffs friendliness are okay overall, if they can speak some basic English is better. The onsen is good.

Hakodate is a stopover, from Sapporo to Tokyo, for us. It’s a bit far from main sightseeing attractions so by time we check in, it was already too late to explore. However, this hotel is definitely a great place to stay if visitors are spending a few days in Hakodate.

There is a small kitchenette and a proper dining table which allows us to sit down together to have breakfast together. The onsen is a plus.

The check-in experience was less than ideal. The person that checked us in (a young man) was very rude to us. I understand it is hard to use English to communicate and we offered for him to speak Japanese to us as my husband understand Japanese. He was still very rude afterwards. It is not about the language barrier but the attitude he is showing. He is by far the rudest staff I have seen in the whole of Hokkaido. Disappointing. The next time round we were served by Sato, and he was very friendly. The kiosk downstair only sell very simple items.

The room was comfortable. There was a kitchen and a laundry machine in each room. There is a big carpark for hotel guest to use and if that is full, there are another 2 more carpark nearby that can be used as well. The breakfast is superb. Must try. Every morning offers fresh sashimi don, ten don and kani don. Well worth the value. The onsen was good as well. A bit crowded but none the less comfortable. Walkable distance to the busy streets.

Could do with a covered bicycle parking, but it didn’t rain so wasn’t an issue.

Very large room. Great view of the city. Comfortable bed. Variety of baths in the onsen. Nice massage after 7 days of cycling. Walking distance to morning market. Tram stop outside to go further in the city.
