Location was great, walking distance to a lot of sightseeing. Bus stop in front and walking distance to a lot of shops. Excellent.

A very minor complaint - a chair or two to go with the table in the room would have been nice.

Very modern and absolutely immaculate hotel. The staff were extremely polite and helpful. The location was very central to everything - about 5-10 minutes walk takes you into the shopping areas or the Gion district. There is a Family Mart and coin laundromat right next door (if the hotel washers are busy.) Our room (superior twin) was a very good size (for Japan), very quiet with block-out blinds and the shower/bathroom was excellent.

Everything was fine

We really enjoyed our stay in this hotel right in the middle of Kyoto. It is conveniently located with public transportation being within 10 min walk distance. The room had enough space and we did not miss anything. For us, the bath was a highlight: tidy, spacious, good lighting and a comfy bathtub (it might however be a bit small for taller people).

The room was very big, all the ammenities were provided and the location was very good, close to the city center and with supermarket, coffee shop and restaurants nearby. Nontheless, a bus station is right in front of the hotel with direct connection to kyoto station and also to other objectives.

This place was one of my highlights. I absolutely loved everything about it. So clean, stylish and comfortable. The staff was so nice and helpful. Location was amazing and calm, close to the river. Right in between Kyoto station and the busy street life of Nishiki Market. Loved it.

For such an upscale and relatively expensive hotel I would have expected tea and coffee in the room, the only choice given was green tea in the room. No other teas or coffee available. The pillows, yet again in Japanese hotels they use either hard beans or plastic tubing, so would have been nice to have been offered softer pillows.

We paid extra for a grand twin, and that was an exceptional space to have. Large and very comfortable with lots of storage, a separate seating area, separate toilet and an amazing bathroom with huge shower. Free water every day. Staff very nice and spoke some English. Yet again luggage forwarding worked a treat to and from this location! Location was a short walk to a station and shopping/restaurant areas, also across the bridge into the Gion area.

The only negative point is that there are not restaurants or pubs in the hotel however, in the area there were plenty of them so it was ok.

Everything, it is an exquisite hotel with spacious, clean and beautiful rooms. The amenities are excellent and the architecture of the hotel and design of the rooms make you not want to leave the room! The staff are very friendly and nice as well. And the location is excellent, super central and walking distance from so many places. Highly recommended!

Breakfast includes only two types - Japanese and bread with boiled egg, so no choice at all if you don’t like any of it
