I bought the package of early check in, late check out, free wifi. When I arrived around 12, no one could tell me how early I could check in and the hotel is busy that day so it was the usual check in time. Similarly for check out, I was only given 30 mins extension. I was told if I become a Hilton member, only then can I get free wifi which is fine by me. I wonder what was the value of the package I bought. The staff was very polite, no complaints there.

The room was spacious. Housekeeping was fantastic. Breakfast buffet didn’t have the widespread buffet like big hotel chains but the selection was good enough and tasty. Suggest to have a change of some dishes so those who stay for a few days won’t get bored. I appreciated the staff offering to book a cab for me when she saw how heavy my bag was. Proactive service, love it!

First, its location is not so convenient. It has a nearby train station but the “express” type train skips this small station. Second, its hot spring is too small for such hotel with so many guests. It is also too shallow and should be at least 8 -12 inches deeper.

Unlike other Japanese hotels, it allows me to have early check-in. Its breakfast quality is up to standard. The gym is well equipped and this is the bonus points.

Difficult to enter the hotel , we have to go basement to meet the lobby. We have to refill water by ourself and the water taste strange There has no free wifi except subscribe for hilton member . When we successfully connect wifi , we have to login every time we use. The public bath is smaller than we expect from the photo shown and has limited time to use. When we use the bathroom there seem no cleaning from staff for a while (the towel bin was full)

Room small. No space for luggages.

Location a little off the centre. No parking space available need to use coin parking. Although quite near to hotel, there’s no spaces for even stopping to unload luggages. Room is a bit small for long time stay. I would say max for 3nights if want to be comfortable. Onsen is nice and clean only in the morning but at night time, it is not enough attention on cleanness.

The staff. Daniele, madhu and many others have made this stay one of the best in Japan. Their attentiveness and professionalism has made us extend our stay in Kyoto and do day trips to other areas rather than move hotels. How wonderful it is to see such a multicultural team who are so attentive to each guest we came in contact with shows us the Hilton qualities we have seen in many locations around the world.. we will return

The food at the restaurant was atrocious. People who doesn’t work out was playing in the gym which was dangerous.

It was just built, shower was a good size for the room. There’s gym with basic equipment. Nice staff :)

Nothing much to complain about if your aren’t picky.

One of the best hotel during my 8 days stay here in Japan. The room was clean and spacious for 2 people. The gym was good with basic facilities and they have a public bath which is very relaxing to soak in. We drove and park at the public carpark next to the hotel. Free cookies and friendly staffs. Thank you for this amazing night!
