How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

It a center of night club and karaoke so it very lively at night and left some drunk teenage in early morning.
Nice place and clean. Just 150m from Sakae station.

Expected in Japan but I do find the room small from what I'm used to. I have to admit that the room I was in was bigger than the ones in hotels in Tokyo I previously stayed at.
The free flowing coffee is a major plus for me. Also, the bath salts and skin care freebies.

The location is close to a station but there are a lot of locals smoking around the area which is quite understandable. The room itself is okay but quite small if you have a lot of stuffs. It will be hard to open a suitcase at the same time.
The amenities are good. The bed is comfortable and the bathroom has complete necessities. The staffs are nice and really helpful. There is also a lounge where you can stay while waiting for the check in time

Wifi is not good. It took 15secs to send a 3MB photo. Cannot smoothly access HD contents from YT or Netflix. Also the window in my room is facing towards a nearby wall that nearly allowed no sunlight comes through. A bit inconvenient for people like me waken up by sunlight.

Double bed room is small, if want more comfort will have to book a bigger room. Its still worth it for its price
Staff are nice and welcoming. Thoughtful amenities are available for free. Location is near to many places to shop and eat

The laundry room is too small for such a big hotel (only 2 washer I think). Hard to find a time to do laundry cuz people are waiting in line.
The value is great Large and comfortable bed, with big TV Central location, mins from everywhere

The bathroom is a little small but I'm a big person so it may not be an issue for anyone else.
The room's lighting and ambient music from the TV was pleasant. The variety of amenities they provide is vast as well, not to mention free hot or iced coffee.

As I said, the rooms are a bit small, but that’s ok. Also, the neighborhood is a bit on the wild side, but I never felt unsafe or anything.
We were really happy with how close the hotel is to Sakae Station - a very short walk! We also like how secure the property is. The rooms are definitely on the smaller side, even for Japan, but it’s such a great value that we didn’t mind. The amenities selection was top notch. My favorite aspect about this property is the extremely helpful staff! We didn’t have experience with luggage forwarding, and super kind and patient lady at the front desk walked us through the whole process. She was amazing!

The hotel is super clean and tidy, the staff were very friendly and patient with us. There's lots of amenities to take advantage of, from things like shower caps and razors to free coffee and hot chocolate! It was very quiet and the location isn't too far of a walk from the main Nagoya station and a 2min walk away from the subway which was fantastic! Lots of shops and restaurants nearby. The room itself was clean and comfortable too. Would definitely recommend this hotel!

The hotel itself was great but the area is sketchy… It is located in the red light district, which we didnt know when we booked. Its not the hotels fault. We should have searched beforehand. It has no breakfast option.
Short walk from higashiyama line station. Near donki. Near restaurants. Staff were great and speak simple english. Free coffee in lobby area.

Excellent location. Very near Sakae station and has really good restaurants nearby. Perfect location for shopping as well because luxury brands and grocery stores can be reached on foot. The staff are very attentive and helpful. There's also free coffee and hot chocolate for hotel guests. We truly enjoyed our stay.
