How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

only 2 elevator and during peak hours have to wait quite long. Wash sink in the room. NO trashcan in the toilet.
Staff was accomodating to our request and took time to change our room for upgrade. We felt the room small. Breakfast was the same daily but there were a lot of selections. Has vegatarian options, kids meal. Mixed of Japanese and continental breakfast. Staff service was great though there were food that they don't refill or maybe still preparing. Quiet far from Nagoya station if taking bus going to airport. We didn't catch up the bus. Front desk staff was helpful and patient in guiding me to take train instead of taxi to the airport. There is a train station at the back of Matsutsakaya. Note that if you are carrying heavy luggage there are 10 - 15 stair steps to bring down the luggage. We have 2 adults to carry each huge luggage to down then go up to get the other luggages back and fort. Total of 6 luggages. Hotel is walking distance to shopping. Room has complete charging cables from Apple to Android, to international adapters. Bathroom was roomy and clean. Nice shower and tub.

Would be great if they can lend a baby cot for travellers with kids.
We love the big bathroom separating bath and toilet. Twin beds are a bit bigger than single bed.

Everything was great except the the receptionist named Lana was a bit off during our check-in. She was not accommodating at all and would sometimes raise her voice when we were asking some questions eegarding the miscommunication for our daily meals.
The hotel was very convenient, near eestauratns, stores and malls. It was easy to walk around different shops. It was also very accessible to convenient stores.

Pillows were a bit hard. Vending machine could have more choices.
Love the location of this place. Near many shops, restaurants, close to the metro. Breakfast was yummy and good value for money and we appreciated the free coffee/ drinks in the lobby. The hot chocolate was good! Staff were nice and accommodating. Love the massage machine- comes in a handy after a long day of walking. Shower was good!

As we were a family of 3, we all shared one bed, which was too small. but that more on us, in future will need to book 2 beds.
Its in a very good location, can always go back to hotel for a quick rest when needed.

We booked a late check out 12 … but the staff kept forgetting: cleaners came in - front desk staff phoned about why we weren’t checking out … front desk forget twice … there must of been some miscommunication between the booking and hotel . Not a major drama - just not as chill as I would have liked

The bathroom had tiled walls which I thought I saw mould or pink bacteria in the corner. I could hear water pipes hissing at night or noises from the upper floor when it's very quite at night. During my stay, I met a staff member at the desk who couldn't speak English so I had to use a translator app to communicate. Surprisingly, on another day I met a staff member who spoke great Korean to help me so it was all good.
The immediate area was quiet and felt safe. Close to many department stores for shopping and short walk to a bus stop that will take you to Nagoya station. The mattress was comfortable. The complementary wine was fun.

It’s kinda difficult for payment especially when you booked 5 rooms. Can’t get the same floor as others Hotel know when we booked 5 rooms they already prepared for it.

parking is not available on site but whole day parking in the tower next to hotel is available for 2000 yen a day.
Within a few mins of walk from central shopping area. size of room is good. clean and well equipped room. surprisingly good shower facilities. breakfast was included and of very good quality.

Parking gets very expensive. The hotel does not have its own parking space and instead partners with nearby garages. They offer a fixed rate for certain hours but outside that, the costs add up to be very expensive.
Location was great. We wanted to visit the Pokemon Center Nagoya and have lunch at Yaboten. We were able to do both since they were within walking distance of the hotel!

Also, there were a bag of personal stuff left in the room when we entered upon checked in. Upon checked in, the air-con in room was not turned on and couldn't find instruction in English.

2 issues on arrival day; check in time is 2pm but i didn't get my room until 3pm and hotel forgot to set up the sofa bed for third person. Apart from this, the stay was excellent
