Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

PortugalThe downsides we had were with the storage space in the room. There just was not enough space to store either our clothes or luggage as there is no wardrobe or drawers to store items. It ended up that our personal items would pile up making the room seek smaller than it actually was. Apart from this we really enjoyed our stay and would recommend it for short stays in kyotom
Very well located hotel close to Kyoto station, it was a 2 minute walk from the station which is appreciated when you have a large luggage. Also very close to a large shopping centre and several convenience stores. The hotel itself is very modern, having opened only a few years ago and you can tell based on how new and modern the rooms and features are. The amenities are some of the best I have seen in a hotel, it has a laundry room with 5 machines to wash and dry clothes (although they are very popular and can get fully booked during peak time). There is also a gym, and indoor pool / onsen along with two large massage chairs which are charged at ¥300 for a 15 minute massage which is very reasonable.

The amenities were perfect as we forgot to pack our toothbrushes into our carry on between cities and had to wait a day before our large laggage bags arrived via yamato transport. Its right across the road from Kyoto Station and there's a mall/plaza opposite which had Don Quiyote so me and my girls spent lots of time there.

United KingdomThe only real downfall for us was the beds. The mattresses were very hard, which we are not used to, but that's a personal opinion and may not be an issue for others.
Staff were very friendly and helpful. Room was spacious and I loved the deep bath tub (great to relax in after a day of exploring). Very close to the station, which was great for getting about. Check in was at 3pm but we were able to drop our bags off earlier, allowing us to spend the day bag free.

IsraelThere are only 5 washing machines in the entire hotel. Usually they are all occupied and people are waiting in line. It is advisable to add more washing machines in such a large hotel.
The room is very clean, and has both a shower and a bathtub. The hotel is centrally located, very close to Kyoto station. There is a large gym, spacious public hot tub and sauna. Excellent breakfast, but relatively expensive compared to similar hotels (3,500 yen per person).

ChinaTriple room is small, which is expected in Japan, but it really need a bit more space for opening luggage. Also lack of desk space. The side table and bedside table are very small. Close to the JR station but a bit of walk to get to the other side of the station for bus stops, Kyoto station could be a maze for people new to the city.
