We had wonderful hosts at this accommodation! They were extremely helpful, friendly and took great care of us. The room was very clean, beautiful and the location was perfect for getting to the various sights by bus. If I travel to Hakone again, I will stay in this accommodation again. This is an amazing place in the beautiful Hakone mountains that we will for sure once visit again. There are restaurants and shops in a walking distance. We got a cosy, clean, comfortable and spacious room that we liked it very much! The owners are wonderful people that do everything to make your stay pleasant. They are super helpful in anything you might need or ask. Navigating their guests in the Hakone area is something they do with love and even we stayed only one night we could still manage to enjoy the different sides of Hakone. Since it started raining when we were checking out, the owner offered us a ride to our next destination. This is one of the best accommodation experiences I have had and I recommend it to everyone who wants to visit Hakone.

The owners are fabulous! They have everything organized - they have maps, tell you which buses to take and how to get to the bus stops, have listings of local restaurants, and local sites. They even had a QR code available for the Hakone travel pass. The hotel was immaculate. The room had two beds, as requested, as well as a little seating area with tatami mats. Slippers were provided at the front door and each room had a place where you could put your shoes. It even had a lock if you were concerned about losing your shoes. We never locked it. They had umbrellas available, which we needed unfortunately. They also had a weather board which they updated, so you knew what to expect from the day. There was a convenience store near by as well. I would definitely stay here again.

The location is a bit far away, but there is public transport every 15 min approx, highly advise getting the hakone free pass, you get your value out of it

Owner: (1)The resort owner is a very nice Japanese gentleman. He welcomed us during the arrival and patiently introduced us about the locations he highly recommended to visit in Hakone. You can communicate with him in English. (2) We also asked the owner to help with few location restaurant bookings. He was very helpful and willing to offer the help! Room: (1) The hygiene quality within the facility is very high. One thing we remembered is that the owner will clean the luggage wheels with a towel to keep the carpet clean. (2) Room is spacious in my standard. Environment: (1) The parking is also arranged for us (you need to let the owner know in advance) which is outside the house, very easy to access. (2)The resort is based in a very quiet street. You will not be hearing any noises at night. So after a full day travel, you will for sure enjoy a quiet and nice sleep!

Great location, spacious room and very clean and tidy. The owner was very helpful and it was important for him that we make the best of our time there. He helped us build a schedule to see all of the main attractions as well as some off the beaten track recommendations to see other exceptional sightings. While we were staying there he checked with us a few times to make sure we're ok and don't need anything else. Overall a very pleasant man and a very pleasant experience

Location didn't have much atmosphere - away from main tourist area in Hakone. Car recommended to get around. Some very narrow streets in this area provide a challenge!

Very friendly and helpful owners. Lovely big rooms, compared to other Japanese hotels. Clean and comfortable. Complimentary coffee and has microwave and vending machine in the lobby, alongside lots of local tourist info. The owner kindly gave us a lift to a bus stop which had shelter as it was very rainy on our departure date. The rooms were functional but had some nice traditional touches. We felt it was a good location for exploring the area on the bus.

The staff were very accommodating and helpful. It was heavily raining when we left the accommodation of the day of check out and the host graciously drove us to the bus station so we did not get drenched.

The pillows were too soft to my liking though my hubby found them alright

The room is very spacious and clean. We like the fresh air here. We had booked a 3-night stay and visited Hakone and Kamakura areas on 2 separate days. Weather was not on our side and we were kind of disappointed not being able to see Mt.Fuji in the 2 days. To our great delight, the owner Nori-san offered to drive us to nearby spots to view Mt Fuji and the Mt Halone. We took pictures and videos of the majestic Mt. Fuji. That made our day and perfected our Hakone trip! Thank you Nori-san for the extra mile!
