The downside of being in the woods was that it could be tricky to get to. The free shuttle buses really helped.

Hot tub, sauna, BBQ, amazing little cabin. Every amenity provided for. Gorgeous location in the middle of the woods, saw lots of wildlife.

Not confident to set fire for the sauna, hence didn't try it. Took a while for us to figure out where to check in, but once we found the ipad in the small hut, then the check in process is pretty good and straight forward.

Love the tiny house in the jungle. Love the outdoor onsen.

we only had two people in the property so there was plenty of room for us however the cabin is a little small for the volume of people it can sleep so just keep that in mind if you have a few people staying there for a period of time it might be a little pokey inside. Outside is HUGE! So not an issue there.

THIS PROPERTY WAS AMAZING! Everything was great I could not fault anything. The BBQ was sooooo fun has a great night having some wine and grilling out under the stars. Checkin was fully digital and easy to do! We had a car so location was no issue getting there and parking is available on the property

It was all perfect

We loved the location in the forest. The sauna and hot spring onsen were so enjoyable after a long day of adventuring. We loved cooking on our Japanese charcoal bbq. A great experience !

Nothing, we had a fantastic time.

Loved the location, being in the forest around Mt Fuji is great. Best if you have a car but don’t panic if not, a free shuttle was on hand to take us too and from Fujikawaguchiko Station (even when there was 30+cm of snow!) Really special place and the nicest staff.

The only downside to this property is that it is quite remote. We were able to get a taxi to the location, but had to walk almost an hour back to the main station. However, the unique views of Mount Fuji made the walk worth it.

This property was amazing. We only stayed for one night, but wished we had more time to enjoy the grill amenities. The outdoor bath and sauna was fantastic.

There was quite a bit of ash in the barbeque from a previous guest, but otherwise we loved everything about the stay.

It was fantastic feeling tucked into the forest in a wonderful cabin. There was ample fuel and equipment for cooking in the barbecue pit, and the bath and sauna were wonderful after a long day of traveling! Being in the farthest cabin was great for having forest in the back and side of the unit.

None actually we love our stay but pricing can be more competitive. It’s expensive for 6 of us staying in a room.

The distance from town without a car was a big negative—our inexperience with the location. But there was no shuttle service available at short notice. It had to be booked 24 hours in advance. Through the website. Communication with the host was limited at best. When you travel, you need flexibility. We had to walk in and out of town twice. It is no big deal, but with limited time to do things, it costs an hour each way. The Taxi driver didn't even know where to take us, so we used our Google Maps to direct him.

Great location. We loved the hot tub and sauna—very comfortable bed and warm.

It was a little hard to know which was the right property, and the inside is a little cramped when there are suitcases etc.

The setting is beautiful, the facilities are excellent. We loved the hot tub and the charcoal bbq.

The location is great and is a very nice place to relax. Fluffy beds, nice views straight from your bed and many otger features like grill and spa ... all to enjoy in your own privacy. Manager met us with some Japanese wine and the employee doing the transfer even took me to buy meat for the grilling. Although the description of the check-in seemed very strict and I was not expecting much, this went beyond all my expectations. Did not expect such a warm welcome and such a nice place with all the preparation done so one can just starting to enjoy the time off.

Cabin is too small, they promise to pick up and drop at the station, never happened. I had to pay taxi to get to the station.

Property is too small. They advertise for six people cabin, but hardly 2 people could fit in there. They charge $400 a night and no comfort…
