The wifi connection is bad in the dining/drinking sitting area in lobby.

Very helpful and professional front desk staff made the check-in process a breeze. Room is very clean and spacious. Complimentary coffee and afternoon snacks and drinks are heartwarming. Excellent location, although it's a bit of walk from Kanazawa railway station, but within walking distance to the famous market and shopping district, and thus also convenient to arrive from/going to airport by airport limousine bus.

Everything. Great location within walking distance of most sights. Buses stopped very close by. Good sized room. Nice onsen, washing machine available. Excellent buffet breakfast. Really appreciated the free extras available in the lounge at certain times. Coffee, juices and biscuits during the day, wine in the evening, and hot soup at night.

Unfortunately, the smoking room still smelt like smoke from the previous occupants.

The location was nice and there were free drinks and snacks at the lounge which was a huge perk.

Room was very small for western travelers with two suitcases but that was expected based on photos and sq footage of room, and worth the tradeoff given the quality of the hotel and location. The food offerings in the tourist area at night are not fantastic (you're better off eating near the train station) but there is food available if you look for it.

staff was incredible, the public bath on 2nd floor was super clean and bright and a great way to relax at end of the day. The amenities (coffee , snacks, etc) offered were great. It's accessible by foot, bus or cab ride (about 1000 yen). Easy walking to all main city tourist attrations and museums.

The room was comfortable although a bit small but this is to be expected in the cities in Japan. The breakfast was outstanding, so much variety and plentiful. Happy hour with free wine and champagne for 2 hours was a real bonus. The staff were friendly and helpful.

Not a big fan of the Intergate tech-heavy check in system. The 2 elevators can get pretty busy at peak hours.

Good location in Kanazawa, very good value for money with very clean, fresh rooms. Intergate's happy hour concept always gets the evening off to a great start! Would definitely return.

A beautiful hotel, with amazing staff. Super friendly and so helpful with good English for those who don’t speak Japanese. The complimentary drinks and snacks was a great addition to the stay. Good size room for Japan, great amenities and comfy pyjamas provided! Free drinks and snacks provided in the lobby at different times during the day which was a bonus. Walking distance to Kanazawa Castle and gardens. Kimono rental just 3 mins walk away, inside the New Grand Hotel, next to the Tourist Information Centre.

The hotel is about a 20min walk from the station but buses are also nearby and a good option. The location is good for the castle park & kenrokuen garden also nagamachi district. The happy hour in the evening was a welcome offer plus a good breakfast with lots variety.

The room was excellent. Space to hang clothes even, unlike many Japanese hotels. Excellent location. Honestly, while we didn't indulge, the snacks and end of day soup was more than sufficient for a meal if needed. I just loved this hotel more than all of the hotels we stayed in for our 3-week holiday in Japan.
