The shops and streets surrounding hotel are very attactive. The staff is very kind and polite. I like the atmosphere surrounding the streets the Cafe,shops,clothing shops and eating place nearby.

No coffee was provided in the room, although you could buy some from the bar. No onsite washer-dryers, although these were available offsite with a short walk.

The room was a good size, the air conditioning was great, the teas were excellent, the shower was great and the room was quiet. The music bar was really impressive, with great music, delicious cocktails and food.

The amenities in the room were a little basic and I was a bit disappointed that the staff did not replace the used mugs with clean ones when they cleaned the room, since I had no way to wash them properly myself.

Kaname Inn is a beautiful Hotel right in the centre of Kanazawa. The facilities are brand new, my bedroom was large, modern, with floor to ceiling windows and an open view. It really felt more like a studio flat than a hotel room, which is a refreshing thing when you've been travelling a while. The bathroom was also brand new, with a great bath tub and shower. The staff is friendly, welcoming and helpful and the hotel bar is gorgeous. I enjoyed a lovely cocktail on my first night there while listening to the music that the DJ selected for us - which, incidentally, was a superb selection. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Loved everything about this place, especially the room and the staff went well out of their way to help me feel comfortable. It felt like I had personal service and attention that rivaled top hotel experiences I’ve had in other places. The bathroom was clean, well appointed, with excellent lighting. The bed was so comfortable and there was nice tea provided. It was these little touches that made the difference. Also the location is unbeatable.

It's about a 30 minute walk from the station. It didn't help that I couldn't make heads or tails of the bus system. Maybe plan on a taxi.

Everything was top notch. The room was large, the view was great. Bathroom was exceptional. Staff spoke very good English and were extremely helpful. The attached restaurant is a great place to spend an evening as well. Highly recommended.

We loved the hotel. The staff went out of their way to make us feel comfortable and help us with our onwards travel plans. The music bar seemed very nice, a pity it was closed on Sundays. Breakfast was simple but also very good! Would definitely recommend staying here!
