Room fridge is weak and takes time to work after turning it on. The spa was very messy at around 00:30 with hair all over the floor, used cotton buds in the sinks and overflowing trash cans and towel bin.

King room is spacious with a large and comfortable bed. Room was very clean. Open air spa and sauna room is relaxing at night.

Despite its size, the Candeo was extremely clean and airy, and in a great location. We stayed in a King room which was larger than other hotel rooms we have stayed in during our trip to Japan. The spa was fantastic with two large baths and a small cold pool, plus a sauna. At 6pm, there were only a couple of other women using it. The mattress and pillows were just perfect and so comfortable; the best so far after a couple of weeks here.

Top notch service - we have left behind a watch in the room after checking out. Called the hotel and the receptionist not only can converse with me fully in English, she got back to me via message in Booking.com to update me that the watch has been found by housekeeping and further arranged with the other hotel that I would be staying to arrange the delivery via several calls. I couldn’t thank her enough. Room is stylish and looks new. Spa was beautiful. Breakfast has good selection. Located extremely close to the shopping streets with abundant of restaurants. Parking is available.

Really loved the rooftop spa open at night. Also the hotel providing tattoo covers for inked guests, I really appreciated that gesture instead of being simply barred from using the facility. Very convenient location too and nice staff! Super quick check-in and check-out.

Rooftop hotspring, 1 min walk to Shinshigai and shopping centers, 15mins walk to Kumamoto castle. Very comfortable bed and pillows, clean, big room size. Staying here gets almost everthing a tourist needs. We have tried Condeo in other cities and it never let us down. Would df go for Condeo in next trip in JP.

The hotel is new and clean. Very convenient location. Decent breakfast with lots of choices. The spa was good and rooms are spacious. I requested a nearby room and they arranged two rooms right across each other which gives me a lot of convenience.

The lobby is on the top floor. Weird at first, but that meant I could come and go more freely and even get a pizza delivered without feeling like an idiot. Great spa and lovely room, perfect trip.

Phenomenal hotel. Beautifully appointed, delicious breakfast, and perfect location. Shopping, restaurants, late night scene, bus, train, and local sightseeing all within easy walking distance. I loved the huge window and the luxurious bench in front of it. Perfect for taking a rest after a busy day and watching the city life pass by. The open air bath on the 12th floor is what really sold me on the hotel, and it was perfect. The restaurant is also on the 12th floor, and provides a gorgeous panorama of the city and castle with massive windows spanning the entire walls.

Onsite parking is limited but there are plenty of parking space around despite with a higher charge, which is still at an acceptable level.

Location is good which is at a stone throw from the shopping and tourist spots. The public bath is a nice suprise and I really enjoyed it.

Maybe the most beautiful hotel room I’ve ever been in for a very good price. It’s super clean and classy. Also there is the spa at the top of the building which is lovely. I loved my stay here very much! There was enough space in my room for some dancing on your own even. Wonderful!
