The cleanliness of the bathroom is somewhat can be improved.

We love the fact this property is near to ski resort & they provide a shuttle to the nearest ski resort. The staffs were so nice & heart-warming.

Showering facilities were onsen style for those that do not have a private bathroom, so there are no cubicles. Tourists from other countries might want to take note of that.

Breakfast was buffet style and was worth the money. It was pretty decent. Staff were friendly and extremely helpful, free hotel transfer is excellent Heater in room was strong which is good but can get abit too hot and stuffy

Price was not cheap but it's the cheapest I found. I chose single room with bath and the room can fit double bed (size-wise). Fitted with single bed, they also add medium-sized fridge, a round table with chair and electric heater. Arrived after sundown at 2C, took a cab & asked hotel for Japanese address (for taxi driver reference). Check-in was smooth and I was brought to my room with the heater already ON! Check-out the next morning by walking to Kumoba Pond and Kyu-Karuizawa. From there, took the bus to Shiraito Falls then back to Kyu-Karuizawa and took red bus to Usui Observation Pass. When I got back to hotel to retrieve luggage, the receptionist kindly arrange to send me to Karuizawa Station. Staff are kindful lot and it was a very memorable and heart-warming stay. Hope the staff keep up their energy for guests' amazing stay at Karuizawa!

A bit noisy at night, keep hearing people walking and talking in the corridor or inside their room next to yours.

Great value for money, breakfast was very good and tasty, staff are very kind and helpful.

It's not something we didn't like but it's good to know that the parking can get a little full at night, but the staff are very helpful about moving cars around to making sure everybody can squeeze in so no worries.

Excellent location, cozy and warm in the winter, super friendly and helpful staff, everything was as good or better than we expected, thank you for a lovely stay!

The staff is extremely helpful and polite. We arrived 7pm at Karuizawa station, snowing & 1st time there with luggage. They arranged car pick up. We were very grateful for their help.

If you want to have the gasoline heater on overnight, you may want the ventilator on as well even though they used an isolated airing system already. The ventilator produces considerable noise at nighttime. But tje room is actually not crazy cold so you caa turn those off.

A fairly priced option for travellers without cars, most others are either a lot more expensive or so far away. This is more like a hostel but you have all the privacy needed. They also kept the place clean by javing guests leaving their shoes at the entrance. They also kindly offered to send us back to the train station.

Such lovely staff − really warm welcome who went out of their way to drop me off at station， and give advise etc． Really lovely people. Karuizawa is an expensive location so this is a great budget option. Its only about half a kilometre to the station and shopping plaza, and about a kilometre up to the old town. Highly recommend.

the pillow was hard, not really my type drinks sheet drawer was written "roasted green tea" but inside was plum or dashi? tea something lol

buffet type of breakfast, it was Japanese menu and really good. I arrived at night walking from station, the street was dark, but in the morning I realized the access is really good. the room has a big refrigerator so don't worry if you want to buy food or souvenirs.
