One of the best place we stay at. The services provided by the hotel, and the very nice hotel staff were top notch. The in room private onsen, and the public one was excellent. We stayed in a Japanese style room, love all the detail of the corridor and the style. We especially enjoy the half board meals provided. I recommend anyone stay there to get it. I’ll definitely come back again if I’m visiting Nara again. Hotel is located very close to the train station and buses are easy walk to.

Loved the small private onsen looking out onto trees. The location within Nara was perfect - a short walk to the parks (and deer) and also to several lovely temples, and some great restaurants. The 4 of us fitted in the single room well enough.

A bit pricey and though our traditional Japanese style room was huge and lovely, there was no view.

Great location. Really could not have been better. The room was huge, but a a bit pricey. We opted for the traditional Japanese style room with futons. While interesting, we discovered that futons on the floor are not very comfortable, especially at our age. The onsen was lovely.

We made the mistake of thinking we had booked a Japanese room when we had booked a western style room instead. Room is spacious, clean and well equipped. But something to be careful of if intending to book a Japanese style room.

You have to book breakfast in advance. The restaurant has a limited capacity so we couldn’t book in when we arrived.

The room was fantastic. It was huge, especially by Japanese standards. The location was great, short bus ride from the main JR station and walking distance to the other station with connections to Osaka and Kyoto. The onsen was lovely with an open air pool. Very clean. The room had all the amenities you’d need, including Yukata and slippers as well as decent toiletries. There was a separate bath and toilet in a very large bathroom with a separate dressing area

We liked everything

Despite being in a busy area, the hotel was serene and quiet (mostly except for a child next door on our second night). The staff are polite and attentive. The rooms are comfortable and clean. We loved our private outdoor bath.

Japanese style room with a personal onsen style tub was amazing. Onsen area is anlso incredible! This place is only a minute walk from the train station, and only another minute in the opposite direction to reach the park and deer.

The staff was very nice and welcoming. The room was spacious, beautiful and with all amenities. Meals were delicious and the staff patiently explained to us every dish, in English. The onsen was a welcome relaxing moment after a day of walking in Nara.

The onsen was amazing and the breakfast was one of the most unique experiences in Nara! Recommend if you want to live the Japanese experience having and amazing time in a tatami room, sleeping in a Futon and having an amazing view from an onsen ❤️

The futon (Japanese style matress) was very thin sothat it wasnt quite comfotable. They refused to provide meals, dinner and breakfast, because I chose no meal at the time of reservation, although ythe hotel has a restaurant within the complex. The staff was quite rigid about the rule.

The food at dinner and breakfast are so so. Not recommended to opt in again. But there aren’t many choices at night as most restaurants nearby closes at around 8-9pm.

Superb hospitality and great service! In room outdoor onsen is very nice in the winter, water is very hot. Room is very spacious. WiFi is working very well. Location is the best next to the shopping street and convenient stores. Late check out is available at a low fee. Overall a very good experience and definitely will return!

The staff were incredibly attentive and helpful. The location was perfect - between food and the park with the deer. The traditional Japanese rooms were beautifully presented and spacious.

Loved the traditional Japanese Inn experience. The bathhouse was great and had the inside or outside baths. The staff made up our room while we were out which we were not expecting, which was great! Very convenient location to everything.The breakfast staff were very friendly and accommodating.

The wireless networking is a little slow and unstable.

The hotel is very close to the Kintetsu Nara station and the park. We booked a western-style room with dinner. The check-in experience was smooth, with the amenties in room introduced by the friendly and professional staff. The hotel amenties are very complete (indoor/outdoor bath included), and the dinner consisting of multiple dishes was beyond expectation.
