I wish the futon was more cushy. But not a big problem.

Simple, basic accommodation but very clean, perfect spot for Mt Fuji viewing, next to train and bus station, restaurants and the lakes. Very helpful staff. We were there nearly 20 yrs ago, the same man.

The location is perfect if you want to reach a lot of places around Mt. Fuji by train or bus. Great view of the mountain from the room. The accommodation was good equiped for that kind of traditional rooms. Separate shower cabins are available.

Nothing really

Perfect location, right next to the train and bus station, with many restaurants and shops nearby. 10 minutes walk to the lake. Our tatami room is very clean and tidy, with the amazing view of Mt. Fuji right outside of our window. We were so lucky with the weather as well, cloudless blue sky for the whole two days so we had superb view of the Fuji everyday. It was very interesting to try the traditional Japanese room and to sleep in the futons. Top floor public bath is very nice too. Staff are all very friendly and helpful. Great value for money.

Actually nothing!

The onsen was small but nice with a great view. The location is one of the best possible and the place is super affordable. Staff was nice and the room is spacious. Would definitely recommend it!

Maybe to replace the towels? They are really getting old and thin.

Excellent location - it is located right outside Kawaguchiko Station. As the weather was bad (rain and foggy) when we visited, we were very appreciative that we could get in/out of hotels easily with our luggage. Lots of eateries around too. Hotel is basic, small but clean. You also need to make your own beds. There is no lift so you need to carry your luggages on your own but the lady at the counter was very kind to help me with my luggage. Shared showers and onsen are available at L4. Toilets are available at every floor. The price is fantastic so please do not expect luxury hotel standards - which is at least 4X the price. I was lucky to be given a room that faces Mt Fuji BUT unfortunately had no sight of Mt Fuji because of the heavy fog and rain throughout my 3D2N stay there.

The steps. I had to walk up to 3rd floor.

Location. Just in front of the train station and all shops. Public bath facing mt Fuji. The window opens to a view of the Mt Fuji. Lovely hot water. Mattress is so comfortable. Room 313 opens to a view of Mt Fuji.

No conditioner in the bathrooms, and the shampoo is not good. You may want to bring your own.

Situated right in front of the station, this place immediately caught our attention. However, it was the staff who truly won us over. The older couple and the young lady who greeted us were incredibly hospitable and provided us with all the information we needed to make our stay enjoyable. We were particularly impressed by the large bath area, complete with all the amenities we needed and hot water that was perfect for soaking in after a long day of exploring. Although the breakfast was simple, it was fulfilling and set us up for the day ahead. Overall, we highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a comfortable and welcoming stay near Kawaguchiko.

It's my first time to visit Lake Kawaguchi and appreciate Mount. Fuji. Landlord can speak decent English. You can place your luggage before you check in and after you check out, which makes us convenient to make the most of time on our journey. Moreover, you can enjoy the hot spring and enjoy the Mount Fuji at the same time. Highly recommend this hotel for anyone who wants to have a trip near Mount Fuji.

The property lacks passenger elevator, so elder people with climbing issues are not suitable.

Location, location, location. Room and public bath facing Mt Fuji. You can stare on it for hours. Also the quiet cafe space that we can use to wait for train / check-in time. Most importantly Keiko-san is very helpful and friendly.
