Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Excellent hotel, the staff is friendly and helpful. Yotsuya station is a few minutes' walk away, making it convenient to all Tokyo attractions. The room is clean and small but has everything you need. Suitcases can be put under the bed. The window can be opened, the beds were of sufficient size and comfortable.

NetherlandsIts location. It is yotsuya, a quiet, clean and greener area in shinjuku. There are a variety of restaurants to choose from the moment you step out of the door. The subway station that connects to the rest of the city is a couple of minutes walk. There are convenient stores nearby.

MalaysiaThe lighting could be brighter so the common areas can be livelier. Maybe a complete room service especially those who stay for few days rather than just change of towels and emptying of rubbish.
Near to station. Although yotsuya is less busy compared to shinjuku station area, it was easier to move around with smaller crowd. There were a few eating places and convenient stores nearby. Staff was helpful but could be better if command of English is better. Hotel room is quite clean and comfortable.

Hotel just a short walk from Yotsuya Station. Room like typical Japanese hotel a bit small. Need to find way to place luggage at the same time has walking space. Room is clean. Breakfast more western style with some Japanese variety. Not many choice. Okay to me based on the price.

Czech RepublicWe liked everything. The only small thing - I would add coat hangers to the hallway behind the entrance door. The wall is unnecessarily empty and unused.
The hotel has an absolutely great location. Two minutes from Yotsuya subway station. If we go to Tokyo again, definitely to this hotel. The room is equipped sufficiently, we had two single beds, so we always slept great, like at home. There is a fridge and a kettle. The bathroom has a hairdryer and shower gel, shampoo, conditioner and hand and face soap.

TaiwanThe hotel uses self-service check in, but after checking in, the receptionist directed us out the back door, which made no sense. There is no elevator to our room at the back door, so when I asked the receptionist why he took us out, he only replied that "the elevator outside is for residents above the 10th floor", but our room was on the 7th floor, so why did he take us out?
The location of the hotel is great, there are many businesses and convenience stores nearby, and you can walk to the station in 5 minutes. The soundproofing is good, not too noisy at night.
