One of my favourite stays ever. First of all, they’re very easy to communicate with even as an English speaking guest, I was able to arrange shuttle bus, electric bike rental months before I arrived. As soon as I arrived I was picked up by the shuttle bus (there are two types, on a sunny day it’s this super cute semi open cart with folk music playing, on a rainy day it’s a regular 8 seater car). The shuttle bus runs at selected times between 10 - 5 everyday to take you to different areas of the island. I was shown to the room that had the most BEAUTIFUL view I’ve ever seen. The interior is very cute and clean, a very good size and the bed was fluffy and smelled very fresh. My favourite thing is that there are self serving towels outside in the hotel room for both bath towels and beach towels, so convenient! The electric bike rental was 5000 yen for a full day, it was so easy to use, thanks to that I was able to explore a lot of areas. Because zamami island is quite hilly in some parts, I highly recommend you rent an electric one instead of a normal one. The room price included breakfast which was absolutely deliciously and homey. I also ordered lunch on one of the days and it was the best chicken nanban I’ve had (I feel like I’m saying the best a lot). I’ll definitely be back again :)

The staff is very kind, especially the chef! The restaurant on-site provides great included breakfast and optional dinner. I loved the location at the beach where it was quiet and not crowded at all. I would definitely stay here again is I come back to Zamami!

Not the most convenient location if you don’t have a car. They do have a shuttle that runs at certain times of the day which you have to reserve beforehand and you can also take the village bus, but note that both don’t operate after 545pm so it would be tricky getting back if you have dinner in the main town. But wasn’t a big problem for us cause we loved having dinner at the resort restaurant!

Spacious room, comfy beds and good shower, in a quiet part of the island with a view from the balcony, super friendly staff, awesome breakfast and dinner at the restaurant! A short walk from the beach and also a walkable distance to Chishi observation deck with amazing views of the northern cliffs of Zamami! Would recommend staying here for a more secluded feel compared to staying in the main town!

Absolutely beautiful location with beautiful views of the sea, beach and islands. The hotel was clean, comfortable and with beautiful views. The staff were very nice and accommodated us for vegetarian breakfast which was vegetable-filled and tasty. We enjoyed the 30-40 min walk to get to the main port area and they offered a free shuttle ride too. We enjoyed our time here and would stay again.

The location makes it difficult to reach without a car. In the evening the village has minimum lighting on the street, it was too dark to walk.

The staff at the resort is extremely friendly and resourceful. Due to its location, guests without their own transportation would rely on the resort to get in and out. But they do their best to accommodate the needs of the guests.

breakfast seemed to be the poorest I’d ever had in Japan. The shabu shabu dinner for two people were also not enough. Also if they could speak a bit more survival English, it would be a lot easier to talk.

Lovely place if you prefer a hideaway. the beach at the back of the hotel was fantastic. The staff were friendly.

There's a couple of daily announcements or songs that are played through a megaphones outside. Last one IS at 9pm, they only last 1 minute. I found them funny in the end

Nice clean rooms, with a small balcony and view to the bay. A small restaurant in the hotel. Pick-up from Port, and staff was helpful with transport in general.

The shuttle service on the island provided by the hotel was amazing. The hotel staff was so friendly. They even made photo stops during transport. I went out snorkelling and to watch the sunset with them. They were so friendly and enthusiastic and make sure you have an amazing time.

As I mentioned above, the BBQ was a nice dinner. Usually you at least get a bowl of rice or some sides to go with your meat. We had to order them separately, not a big deal, just something to consider.

A nice place to stay on the island. They provide shuttle service to the main town and other beaches. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. Room was comfortable and of adequate size. We had a nice little balcony. Breakfast was nice. We had their BBQ dinner. The cuts of meat were good and we ate outside under the night sky.

I didn't like my holiday is too short😇😅

Especially the view , I am quite sure my accommodations arrangement having the best view ever seen ! The signature breakfast is one of the most impressive for my journey ! With the experience, I had been to many 🏝 islands & I found this resort have a wide range accessibility to many extraordinary beaches ( for sure u need to reserve for their shuttle)

Hotel restaurant has very few vegetarian or fish food options Staff didnt speak much English Hotel is very worn out in the inside. Absolutely not worth almost 200€ / night. The owner should really modernize the interior. Breakfast was not very diverse, served every day almost exactly the same Remote location with no transportation option after 6 PM and no restaurant in walking distance Hotel does not rent out any scooter or car. One has to cross a mountain to reach the main island village. I recommend staying in Zamami Village since it is calm and laidback.
