It’s far from everything! They provide a free shuttle service to and from the closest train station, but only in the time range they specify. A taxi to the airport early in the morning costs around 7k yen. Their restaurant is amazing, but I recommend you include it in your reservation to save a bit of money.

The location was not very far from Fukuoka. The place was quiet and peaceful, best experience during the time in Fukuoka. Also, the staff was really kind and informative, which made me really want to visit this location again during next tour in Japan!!

It needs grab handle coming out of the hot spring bath. And bedside lamp/light would be nice.

Area is quite nice, nice walking. Lovely short walk to the restaurant where we have our own private dining room. The quality of hot spring, onsen, was good.

I took the Jr from Hakata Station to Sasaguri Station and used the pick-up service at the Lawson convenience store in front of the station. It was a bit inconvenient because time was limited, but if your trip was leisurely, a quick look around the rural Sasaguri Station would be a good memory. It was an accommodation that brought back very good memories, but the quality of the hot spring water at the Yufuin ryokan did not seem to be the same.

I was very satisfied with the room, which was larger than expected and was able to experience a traditional Japanese ryokan. The accommodation seemed to have good privacy as it was located independently, and late at night, you could go out to the front yard and look up at the stars. had a good time Dinner and breakfast were served in a room just for two people, and I was impressed by the high quality and the sincerity with which each dish was prepared.

No outdoor onsen at premises. Perhaps should be able to use any at the adjacent hotels. There is an excellent public rotenburo an 8min ride away.

Great bungalow. High open ceiling with solid wood beams. Different levels help define space nicely within the large room. Nice and serene environment altogether. Smell of freah tatami. Private.

Best place I've stayed so far, really nice rooms, and the private onsen was amazing. The buffet is really good but would definitely recommend eating at the Kaiseki restaurant it was superb. Staff was amazing and accommodating, I asked if they had any bicycles to use and he managed to get one.

The staffs of the accommodation seemed to not be familiar with other language rather than Japanese. I recommend those who want to visit this accommodation to learn basic Japanese.

We used pick-up service at the Sasaguri station. It is free of charge if you make a reservation in advance. Every staffs in the accommodation were very kind. From pick-up to check-in, what you have to do is just enjoy their services and environment. The dinner and breakfast satisfied us. I recommend to experience the dinner and breakfast(the Kaiseki).

We couldn’t have a Japanese course dinner (Kaiseki ryori) as we booked on one day before our check-in day, which was really pity. We had dinner in their buffet restaurant at the main building. It was good but still we wished if we could have enjoyed Japanese Kaiseki in a quiet atmosphere.

Very clean and staff was very kind. Lovely private Onsen. Welcome drink and sweets were excellent. We loved the building we stay which is a traditional Japanese house. Everything is superb!

Best choice we made at Fukuoka. Exceptional service, room, and food. Dinner/breakfast included in the reservation exceeded our expectation. So tasty and so beautiful. The server at the restaurant was great as well. Really loved his energy and friendliness.

To get around by public transport is quite difficult in that area - if you want to explore, would definitely recommend a car!

Our stay at kominika neri was by far the most beautiful in Japan - such a nice place to calm down and enjoy a private onsen. The staff was so welcoming and friendly!

Getting to the ryokan can be a little difficult and if coming via bus, the walk up to the ryokan from the bus stop can be tough with luggage as it's a significant distance uphill.
