This seems to be a businessman’s hotel and though it was more than adequate the atmosphere was a little sterile for holiday makers.

The sink in the bathroom was super low, even though I am not tall (155cm) at all, but I also felt it was really low to use.

It’s only 5 minutes walk to Kumamoto castle, and you can see the castle through the room window. They provides two types of breakfast: Japanese and westerners style for customers to choose. Parking just right by the hotel, but you need to pay ¥1000 for one night. (Not really sure if you can go in and out. )

Staff was very polite. Breakfast is good. The dinner were very good. Great size room and bed. There was one minor mistake they did which was showing us the wrong parking space and they redunded us the money as soon as they realised. I had other experience elsewhere.

Its not about the staff or the property but the other guess (Japanese) the rude man who sit with his wife. I sit not far from them for breakfast. He talk to waitress with high tone, and complain to the other waitress about the food in front of the other guess. There was me and 1 man at other table. Its not just 1 or 2 times but more, he call the waitress with un normal intonation and arogant tone and attitude. I felt my face going red with angry toward his unacceptable attitude. When the food come i ask the witress if i can move to other table. The waitress so polite and lovely. And i sit at the table far from the man. I am not blame anyone, but i dont want to see or feel the same way again in the future. The rudesness of the man make my heart hurt, and if he is the regular guess of this property i think i will choose other property to stay. Thankyou.

All staff are friendly and helpful. The location is awesome. I loved the crib that hotel prepared for us. It’s pretty helpful and safety when you have a 6 month old baby. The view is great.

Impeccable service, large and very clean room. You really feel that the hotel staff want the customer to have everything they need. Geographically, hotel very close to the castle and busy shopping streets. Accessible in 25 minutes by tram and a short walk from Kumamoto train station. High-performance WiFi. Nothing to say, it was perfect ;)

The building itself is quite old, but all the facilities are modern and function well. I'm not really complaining.

Superb location, right in the centre of Kumamoto with the Castle across the street! They also allowed the top floor to be used for castle viewing for guests. The staff were excellent and helpful. The room was exceptionally clean. Overall great!

breakfast is one of the two choices. Compared to other hotels on the same trip, breakfast isn't as good as others.... location is very very good. right next to Kumamoto castle and shopping street. no need to drive for visiting those places. a bit troublesome is carpark spaces are limited and no on sen in hotel. but overall, very nice one~

The hotel charged extra fee ￥1000 for parking a vehicle.

The location is nearby Kumamoto castle and the shopping street Kamitori & Shimotori. The rooms are very clean. The Japansese or western set-meal breakfast is delicious.
