If you don’t speak Japanese language, you might find the place a bit difficult to communicate. I wrote questions asking if some adjustments would be possible but the property was too slow to respond and it was too late to adjust anything. Nevertheless, I enjoyed my stay very much.

The staffs were very kind and helpful. I was impressed of how they tried and willing to help us even though we couldn’t communicate well. The facility and all the decorations are superb. The buffet both dinners and breakfast were great with wild range of variety. We wish we could have more time to spend at the place. One night was not enough to experience all the onsens they have.

housekeeping was not ideal but certainly due to the language barrier as English is still a challenge for staff and my Japanese is not yet up to the task either.

nice big room with balcony. view on the mountain side. loved the yukata they provided. they are not always this nice. ^^ we appreciated the onsen very much as we walked a lot during our stay in Aizu.

Nice outdoor onsen; dont forget to try the other 2 onsens at the nearby sister hotel. Buffet-style dinner and breakfast have good spread of dishes.

Nothing to say. It was maybe a bit expensive but due to the Golden Week season, definitely worth it outside of it!

The onsen on the 10th floor was absolutely gorgeous. The dinner and breakfast buffets were diverse and really good. The room had a lovely view on the mountain and the bed was super comfortable. The staff was also super nice.

We liked the cozy atmosphere of the hotel. The onsen on the top floor had beautiful views - we were lucky enough to be surrounded by a beautiful winter landscape. The lounge with free drinks (including sake and umeshu) were a nice touch! And we did enjoy the buffet breakfast and dinner a lot - the quality surpassed our expectations for a hotel buffet. It was really yummy and plenty of choice, always fresh. Very nice place for families or if you want to explore the cute little city of Aizu-wakamatsu

Considering what I paid for one night at this beautiful inn, I expected the food to be better quality. Admittedly, I am not a fan of buffet style meals, as they seem hard to prepare without sacrificing quality for quantity. The tempura was undercooked—the vegetables were hard and the prawns were raw inside. The other food was fine, but not great. There were children scampering about, probably because I stayed on the night before a national holiday. Those that want alcoholic beverages with their meal would need to purchase them separately.

The staff was friendly and helpful, even picking me up and dropping me off at a bus stop a few minutes down the mountain from the inn. The room and the bed were very comfortable. The onsens were great — the one on the 10th floor looks down on the city below, lights twinkling in the night. The one on the 2nd floor has a forest view, also very pretty. There is a lounge on the 4th floor with complimentary drinks and comfortable chairs. Even though there were children talking loudly in the hallway, my room was quiet.

We have ordered two room for our family. To our surprise we discovered that one room has no toilet or bathroom. I believe it should be more clarified in the web site. We had to live and find a different place to stay.

Nothing really. Everything was as we expected.

I liked that I could book a private bath. Breakfast was also delicious. Our room was big and comfortable. Ah, and we were given yukata and we were also encouraged to wear them inside the hotel. All in all a great experience.

Despite typical look, all the establishment, facility and furnishing, including staffs were exceptionally 5-star.
