The service was excellent and the staff went out of their way to assist us and make our stay as comfortable as possible. Despite being an upmarket hotel, they were still very accommodating and welcoming of our toddler and there were extra amenities for her which were appreciated. The hotel is situated in the older part of Karuizawa and is within walking distance of many beautiful attractions and restaurants/cafes. The breakfast is also excellent.

Feel like the public interiors, need to maintenance and update. Doesn’t feel like a four star hotel in Japan.

Not have an all day lobby service for food. Breakfast could have more variety.

Off the main street, many good restaurants like Suju and the ramen shop next door, comfortable quiet rooms. Staff very friendly and having the shuttle to station was useful. Managed to sort out my taxi plans in the town and good suggestions.

Nothing much. Lovely hotel.

1. Great location! Bus stop is literally right outside the hotel. Bus around Karuizawa tourist spots are outside. It is also literally at the entrance of the old Ginza street which has great snacks. If needed, the hotel can also drive 5 mins to the Karuizawa station where you can do all the shopping at the outlet. 2. Great staff. Very polite and very helpful 3. Good breakfast. 4. Comfortable bath area at basement.

The breakfast is not variety. We stayed for 5 nights and the main course is exactly the same even the buffet is the same. We got bored of it so we ended up finding breakfast outside the hotel.

The place is nice. The staff is very nice. The room is quite big so its good for family with the kids. The location is far from the ski resort but they have a shuttle bus where you can catch and request time in advance so its quite good.

Great location. Free shuttle to/fro train station. it is also only 7-8mins walk. Main shopping street, food right outside hotel. There is a really nice cocktail bar right outside hotel.

The location is perfect. Walking distance to Kyu Karuizawa and a couple of other sites. Room is nice and spacious. The breakfast was particularly good.

The restaurant „Sonorite“ shouldn‘t be so strict with not accepting kids

The hotel was close to perfect, the service was excellent, the hotel had a very cozy, modern design, a very nice Onsen, the breakfast was excellent, the location is very good. we loce to come back again and we would definitley recommend the hotel, as well for families.

It is unfortunate that I could not get Hilton honors points and all benefits of Hilton gold members since I booked from booking.com. Perhaps, if you want to get points for your stay and enjoy membership benefits, book from the Hilton website.

The beds are a bit stiff but this can also be because of a personal preference to a softer mattress. I still slept well.

The food is delicious, the staff is lovely and professional and they help with any questions or queries. The location of the hotel could not be more convenient. It was our 3rd stay and we can't wait to go back!

The room was a small side and didn’t really have much view. The property gives the feeling of business hotel rather than resort town hotel.

The location was good and the staff were helpful. The hotel has shuttle service that does a pick up and drop off at Karuizawa station. The breakfast was good.

book a twin room with tatami for 4pax. second night have to make our own tatami. small onsen and a Japanese family of 3 occupy the makeup place for ages. notices should be put to highlight consideration for other hotel users. this is not a place for coffee conversation. breakfast also very rigid only one main which perfectly fine but if your main is French toast you can’t order more eggs like sunny side up or poached. it’s extra cost. not worth paying the price of stayi

everything was overpriced and nothing was thrown in for service . I expected a kind of happy hour or at least generous food portions. The hotel is quite a bit away from the station. the shuttle helped but we felt quite stranded . Staff were not very kind and not at all flexible with children. I wouldn’t recommend this place for families

The staff spoke excellent English ( better than most places in Tokyo !) the breakfast buffet was incredible
