Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

Hong KongThey mixed up our bookings with other ones and delayed our check-in. Also their restaurant was almost empty that night but they would not let us dine in, saying that they are fully booked. We had to go out to look for food on our own, with only a handful of shops opened.

SingaporeI will not recommend this place. We booked the room with the private onsen. After you used the toilet, dirty water will seep out around the toilet bowl. (See picture). The floor will be sticky. For the private onsen itself, the floor was also sticky and slimy. We also ordered the halfboard. Dinner was normal. For the price you paid, there are many options outside the hotel. I feedback to the hotel, they said they checked the toilet floor, but all is good. Disappointing. Overall, not value for money, and an unpleasant experience.

United StatesWe were not allowed to check in early, but that wasn’t really an issue as they held our bags while we took a stroll around the coast. Our bags were already in the room when we returned. So I guess this isn’t really a dislike!
EVERYTHING. the onsen was great. The rooms were big and comfy. We didn’t even sleep in the American beds as the futons were so comfortable. The amenities were cute and useful. The ac was accurate and responsive. The breakfast was AMAZING. We loved it.

United StatesFuton is thin, dirty and old. It hurt my sholder, and I'm still in pain even weeks after. I think I should see a doctor. The futon was the worst bedding during my trip. I'm Japanese but still felt that I was sleeping on the cardboard. One more thing was a stool in the onsen having mold on it. Other than those, that was a fine business hotel with onsen.

United Stateswalk from the Ito train station was longer than 5 - 10 min with luggage with no curbed sidewalk - felt very unsafe. had to make my own futon bed, which is unheard of, at least in my experience at ryokans - the excuse given was COVID but it doesn’t make sense since the beds are usually made when the guests are out for dinner - I suspect it was staff shortage. this should have been noted on the booking site. the building, inside and out, could use some refurbishment. staff at checkin was not very welcoming which is unusual for japan.

AustraliaIto is a small city so only place you can get a taxi is from JR station that if you wish to take many luggages to travel from A to B it is difficult to organise the trip
the onsen is offering both public and private as well as foot bath in lounge garden area. the staff are all friendly and wishing to help at all times the breakfast is great even if not included in rate it is not very expensive if you decided to have it in hotel
