We loved being here and will return one day. Our host was very helpful and friendly - we really appreciated his help in finding good food and his handy tips and recommendations for sightseeing around Fuji-san. Our villa was spacious for two people with a choice of conventional and futon bedding available. The onsen experience was clean and relaxing after days of sightseeing! The quiet location was perfect for views of Fuji-san.

Unbelievably beautiful place with a gorgeous view both on Fuji-sama and other surrounding mountains. The gardens on the premises are lovely and well-maintained. The host Hiro-san and his coworkers are helpful beyond expectations and always cheerful. He explained everything around the villa and gave great advice on what to see around, even helped to order dinner right to the house. The villa provided free transfer to the station after check out, which was very convenient regarding heavy rain that day. Such an outstanding place. Can't believe it's real. Even the cats are happy and friendly, and that's a great sign.

There is only one bathroom in the villa and the floor was quite cold during that time but it was not a big deal for us, still happy to go there.

This was my 3rd time there and it still my first choice to stay while in Kawaguchiko. Hiro San, the owner, also the other staffs were very friendly and helpful. It took me about 5-10 mins walk from my villa to the lake.

Lovely quaint cottage feel to the property and a great view of Mount Fuji from the premises. The unit was clean, well equipped and comfortable. The hospitality of the staff was amazing. They were so helpful providing info of good sights to see around the area and even helped book our coach back to Tokyo in addition to providing shuttle service to and fro the Kawaguchiko station. They have a food truck onsite at night and in the morning for convenient access to food. The lake was just a short walk away and it was lovely to see Mount Fuji at night too. The onsen at the property was a good way to relax after a day of walking.

The host (during check in) is very friendly and helpful. He advised near attractions and lical restaurants. The house is very clean and fully equiped with air-con, heater, heating floor, kitchenware (but no washing machin). Futons are so comfortable. Great place to stay.

The property was clean and spacious, kitchen was well equipped. Having 2 toilets separate to the bathroom was good for a family. The underfloor heating was lovely. The view of Mt Fuji and proximity to the village was perfect. The hosts were amazing and so accommodating. They gave us lots of information and even booked us on a bus back to Tokyo - the train would’ve taken longer and cost more.

Nothing....I love all there.

We can see Fujisan from the window of bedroom in the morning. It's very beautiful. The staffs at reception are very friendly and give us many more traveling around Fujisan Information. There is a kitchen in the villa so we can cook our breakfast very convenient. We can walk around 10 mins to Minimart. Just walk 2 mins to see Fujisan at the lake. It was stunning view. The onsen is good I can see Fujisan from there too.

Hiro was very friendly and hospitable. Prior to check in date he sent a message with tips on getting to Kawaguchiko, hire car and dining recommendations. The villa was very clean, comfortable and the onsen was a bonus. Exceptional view of Mt Fuji 2 mins walk away. Thank you Hiro! We enjoyed our stay and will recommend your place to others! :)

I can’t think of it.

The reviews you read from many platforms are totally true! Hiro and Koki (and Hana-Cat) are superb in their hospitality and guiding the areas. Although the location is far from the Kawaguchiko Station but its compliment with its great view of Mt Fuji and nearby lake where you can walk around! The house is super well-equipped and very comfortable. Staying during winter won’t be a problem.
