Cosy and comfortable. Very caring host. In fact, she actually drove us to the ski resort, then collected us again that night. It was a lovely thing to do. Would I stay there again, absolutely.

Very comfortable and well located place to stay. Wonderful staff. Shared bath, which can be busy if the ryokan is full but very clean and well maintained. Staff is available any time you need anything. Provided city bicycles for our use at no charge. Easy walk from Furano Station and almost across the street from Marche Furano. Great value. Recommended.

Just the heat. There was a small electrical cooler in the room which was a bit noisy, and a fan. it did the trick over night but during the hot August days it was a bit too hot, especially in the common area which is a pity. Other than that, no complaints at all

Very homey and cosy place, the lady is incredibly sweet and helpful. The shower and toilets are incredible, Worth the sharing with others! The bed was comfy and the room had everything we need. The owner even helped us with laundry after a week of hiking in the mountains which was amazing!

Not a super big issue, but no air conditioning can be a bit difficult during hot summers. Only one bathroom/shower for the whole house can also be an issue for some.

Clean and conveniently located close to supermarkets and restaurants. The most lovely host ever, she makes the whole stay even more enjoyable. Good internet, and coffee and tea available. There is microwave, fridge and a little toast oven.

How I wish she will install airconditoners soon. It will help a lot especially during summer when it’s too hot outside.

The nicest owner who even offered to drive us to the station even if she is the only one who cleans all the rooms. Close to so many food options and easy to locate.

The hallways were a little cold but it was winter. Minor issue at best.

I wish we could have stayed longer

The hostess was lively and had the most snuggly beds we have stayed in so far. Only 10 mins drive to ski field and walking distance to shops.

You could hear every move of the guest staying in nearby rooms, but that is nobody's fault.

I like how clean everything was. Host was gracious and everything was labeled well, despite the host not being able to speak/understand English very well. They had coffee and toothbrush available, as well as towels. Will definitely stay there again on my next visit.

We loved everything! For people who need a lot of privacy and want to be left alone their whole stay, this probably isn't compatible. For us, it was a wonderful and valuable authentic travel experience.

We had the absolute best stay here. We stayed in the gorgeous tatami room with garden view (which was snow view since it was snow season). It was on the ground floor, next to the entrance where the host lives. The room had its own fridge, freezer and microwave. The host, an older Japanese woman, was extremely attentive and lovely. She didn't really speak English but was patient with our Google Translate communication. We were the only guests there, and she gave us lifts to the ski resort and even accompanied us to hire ski gear on the way. She will give you a 30% off coupon for your ski lift pass. She even made up our rooms every day as if we were in a 5-star hotel, and turned on the bedroom heater before we returned each night. The guest house is so cosy and comfortable, there are little touches everywhere that show how well looked after this place is. There is even a hot tub to soak in. The location is great, walking distance to multiple great dining options (we loved the local izakaya Fukinotou), a great value ski gear hire shop (Waves) and Furano station. We didn't want to leave and we look forward to staying here next time!
