The property is in a beautiful location right beside lake Chuzenji. The rooms are big and all have a lake view. The property has its own Onsen spa both indoor and outdoor with separate spas for male and female guests. Amazing!

Location in front of the Tobo bus station. Great location overlooking the lake, right next to the boat dock. Amazing onsen. A hotel right in front of Chozenji Lake and within walking distance to Kegun Waterfall. The staff are super friendly and helpful. Excellent meals.

This hotel is fantastic. I wanted to see more in Nikko so decided to stay over for one night. This hotel is up the mountain by the lake and within 5 minute walk of the main bus station, and about 10 minute walk from the waterfall, so a very convenient location. Rooms were huge (especially compared to city hotels) and with the view of the lake. Very quiet at night so great night sleep, bed is very comfortable and the room has live tv. Staff were super friendly and happy to help. There is a small onsen on site but we didnt use it. You do need to be naked for it. We had dinner and breakfast at the hotel, both were amazing. Proper traditional Japanese dishes. Dinner had a few courses, each one explained to us and tasted amazing. Very talented chief! Breakfast was buffet style with traditional tofu, really good also! This surprised me because we stayed at an onsen hotel with similar style dinner/breakfast arrangements before and food was nowhere near this good!

The place may be a bit far from Nikko itself, but that is a good thing if you are looking for a complete escape from reality!

Wonderful hotel in front of lake Chūzenji. The staff is extremely helpful, the onsen is great, the kaiseki dinner you can order is a blast - plus, there is a great “homey” feeling to it.

We had a delightful two-night stay at the hotel where the staff warmly welcomed us, making us feel right at home. The food was exceptional, and we would enthusiastically suggest this hotel for a refreshing getaway from city life. Accessing the hotel from Nikko station was straightforward, and it boasts a splendid view of Chuzenji Lake.

The massage chair in the room was a bonus. Staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful providing recommendations to eat and places to explore. Breakfast was plentiful. Location was ideal across the lake with a bus stop just right out front. We also liked the bar area where there was a great range of alcohol drinks and ypu can also purchase snacks and there was a vending machine for drinks. Onsen and availability of amenities were really good!

The staff were very welcoming and spoke wonderful English. Whenever we entered the hotel, they greeted us chirpily! During the check-in process, the staff made many wonderful recommendations regarding the restaurants and supermarket in the area, the best ways to get to the areas we intended to visit, and were just so genuine and warm to us, and made us feel at home. The location was also very central, if you are interested in visiting Kegon Falls, Ryuzu Falls, Lake Chuzenji, so it was absolutely perfect.

A really convenient place to stay the night after exploring this part of Nikko. Amazing lake view from the room, walking distance to kegon falls, and only a bus ride to Senjogahara. The onsen was nice and relaxing. It was a little small but was pretty quiet during our stay. The staff were really nice and accommodating. We experienced a heavy snow fall upon check out and they offered us a lift to the bus station.

The staff were all very welcoming and friendly. They went out of their way to welcome us and every day they greeted us with smiles and a readiness to make our stay as enjoyable and pleasant as possible. The accomodation was comfortable. The rooms were cleaned daily with new samue provided and clean bedsheets. Their onsen was a pleasant way to start the day and to relax in the evening after a full day in Nikko. Highly recommended!!
