Amazing stay in Okinawa if you travel alone. Many thanks to the staff who made me fell home from the very first day. I met a lot of new friends in this hostel and I had the best time on the island.

Amazing place!!! Best part of my trip in Okinawa❤️ the location is good - close to the aquarium, beach, restaurants and bus station. The stuff can’t be any better, taking care of anything and always so so nice. Comfortable beds, cozy and clean. I wish I have stay longer❤️❤️❤️ super social hostel best place to meet people

Most comfortable stay in a hostel I’ve ever had. The attention to detail is amazing, so many little things to make your life easier when travelling (shelves and mirrors by dorm beds, free washing machine and towels, free parking, good communal kitchen). The staff are so lovely and welcoming too, the whole place has a really nice, chilled atmosphere. It’s also in a great location and is in a great sunset viewing spot.

Mambo hostel is probably one of the best, coolest and most beautiful hostel I have ever stayed at. The host is welcoming and shown great hospitality to the visiting guests The hostel location very close to the Churaumi aquarium which you can easily get to by Okinawa Airpot shuttle. The hostel itself is well designed. The environment is very chill and relaxed. I remember fondly sleeping on the hammock at the balcony, listening to the sound of birds The sleeping cubical are beautifully crafted and provided me good privacy and plug for charging! Thank for the enjoyable stay, I definitely will come back and stay there again and for longer!!!

A piece of constructive feedback I have is that it would have been helpful if the trash bins in the bathrooms were bigger. They were hardly big enough to hold one overnight menstrual pad.

The staff were so friendly and welcoming! They took the time to chat with us, get to know us, and they all even walked us out to the parking lot/ gave us hugs/waved goodbye to us as we were leaving. I got the feeling they really enjoy this job - that they really love living in motobu/okinawa, sharing with others, and getting know and connect with travelers from around the world. They even organized a hotpot dinner for guests!

Very clean and kind owner!! I would definitely come back here again. I stayed on Christmas Eve. So, we did not have a chance with mingle with other travelers. We have dinner with the owner watching One Piece anime. It was a memorable day.

The Hostel is sourrounded by Nature, but still you are really close to the Aquarium and other things. The people working& staying there are so lovely and friendly. I really enjoyed my stay there and the Hostel gives you a feeling of home.

The house is surrounded by a jungle like nature. It is very peaceful and not far away from the Aquarium. I would definitely recommend renting a car as it was very convenient getting around the main island of Okinawa and specifically the north. Kana was very friendly and helpful. He gave us good tips where to eat and where to go diving. Thanks Kana! Hopefully see you again soon.

The place is comfortable, beautiful and staff is sweet, welcoming and helpful. I would recommend it for a solo trip, couples or groups. For working or relaxing. Has amenities for making stay even more comfortable. Easy to reach by bus from Naha airport. Perfect for car.

Kanato and Seiya have created an incredible experience here at Mambo. Not only were the surroundings amazing and the house beautifully decorated, the vibe of the hostel is like a family. I’ve found that as you go through life and grow up, true community gets more and more rare and valuable. I’m so grateful I got to experience a community like this. I loved the location tucked away in the green. Everyone was very kind and although I came alone, it felt like I had booked a trip with friends. The hosts are very helpful and they were taking us to the beach everyday. It was very chill and you could also easily do your own thing. If you want a real and good okinawa experience, I can really recommend !

Nothing. But although it’s walking distance from the aquarium area if you have luggage and it’s hot outside it’ll be a bit of a tiring walk, I recommend taxi for anyone with luggage but no car or motorcycle (if it’s within your budget!).

Super friendly and chill hostel located in walking distance from a variety of tourist attractions and beach areas! The staff were extremely welcoming and quickly made me feel at home. You can enjoy chatting with other guests in the living room but also are able to close the curtains to your bed and have privacy. There were kitchen and laundry facilities and I think it would be great for both a short or long stay. There was a great chilled water cooler. There was also a lovely balcony where you can enjoy and ocean view!
