They could improve cleanliness as I woke up and found a cockroach in the floor where I slept. It shouldn’t be an issue, but I slept in a futon on the floor! Also amenities like water heater or restroom where a bit dirty

Could do with a deep clean but it’s still acceptable. The walls are thin so you have to get lucky with the other people staying there. If they’re loud and you’re a light sleeper you might have some trouble.

Wake up to beautiful views of Fuji San. 24 hour onsen (needs a deep clean but it’s hot enough so hopefully that kills off everything). We stayed in the traditional Japanese style room and enjoyed our time there. The lady running the place is very nice, doesn’t speak English but is helpful and you can eventually communicate what you need. Free ride to Kawaguchiko station at 8.30am and 9.30am. Or between those hours - not sure which it is. Super close to food and supermarkets. There’s a Family Mart close by. Bus stop is also close by to get to the station. It’s a local bus and will cost about ¥180 (as of 2024).

The sheets and quilts really need a wash. The quilt we had were not washed and had hair of other people, so while paying 60€ a night for that doesn’t really feel like a decent value.

The place is very well located for food and restaurant and has a beautiful view of the Mount Fuji. Cleaning wise is not the best but it does have its own Onsen.

There no kitchen

The property is taken care by a old lady and a man. She treated us with sembe and few snacks. She deals in cash. The location was good. It has a good parking place. Restaurants were near by. It has good ofuro. There were enough futon and blankets. The towels were small but she can provide if you ask for more.

Loved spending the night in a large traditional Japanese house. Your own tatami room, the shared Japanese bath. It feels like you’re staying at your grandma’s place

The best part was the amazing view of Fuji-san from the window. It was truly impressive because the weather was very kindtoo. The room size is perfect for a family of 5. The stay even provides a free drop off at Kawaguchiko station on the checkout day. The owner was kind enough to make a two trips for my family as we have huge luggages with us. Really appreciate it!

The onsen isn’t really clean and there are no showers other than the onsen. The owner doesn’t speak a single word of English which makes things a bit complicated if you need something out of the ordinary.

The owner is absolutely adorable. She was very accommodating and really kind. The rooms are beautiful with a very nice Mount Fuji view.

Amazing location, next to Stop 3 for the Sightseeing Bus and depending on the room a view of Fuji! While the staff did not speak English, using a translator should suffice.

The single detractor was that some of 5he futon and blankets set off my allergies. For whatever reason, that wasn’t the case in any other room we stayed (tatami or not) during our trip.

The staff was sincerely helpful and kind. We missed a train and they literally stayed awake to welcome us and to show us the space. I think that breakfast may have been En offered and that smelled amazing. The staff clearly works hard to help the guests have a lovely stay. Hel

Although she was really sweet it could be a bit frustrating that the lady doesn't speak one word of English.

The location of one of my favorite films - Kirschenbluten Hanami - is also one of the best this holiday. Simple, spacious, great location, lovely owner!

The owner is extremely unfriendly, not welcoming at all and just bosses you around. It’s the worst customer treatment possible. The bathrooms lack hygiene, the traditional futons to sleep on don’t seem to have ever been washed and you don’t get enough sheets to cover them, plus they are uncomfortable. Our stay was disappointing. If the accommodation was at lest cheap, you could probably tolerate the treatment and bad condition of the facilities, but it’s not.

It was located about 18 minutes walk from the station and there was no transit to help us reach it. We are able bodied, but walking far with luggage’s was still hard. The bedding didn’t feel clean. The ladies bath (indoor onsen) was also not clean. I felt like I needed to re-rinse myself after each shower. When we arrived we had to wait for a while until a staff member even noticed we were there. It was about 10 minutes of just standing with our stuff and then sitting on the steps.

First and most importantly, the view! We were lucky enough to get a room with full view of mount fuji, and the weather thankfully was clear. But not all rooms in this facility have the same view. The room was quite large and we could move around it freely even with the futon laid. It’s near (a few minutes walk) a big supermarket which was very convenient.
