The room was really nice with a private stone onsen. The staff was extremely accommodating, helping me out with a number of things. I was struggling to get a taxi for an early flight, so they offered me a lift themselves to help me out. They also helped me print out my boarding pass. Lovely people, thank you so much!

The highlights of this stay: 1. Onsen directly in the room - amazing experience and an opportunity to enjoy warm bath with your other sex significant other. Really loved it. 2. The restaurant - the food for breakfast and for dinner was really good. I strongly recommend the peach wine on the rocks 💜 Overall we had a very nice and relaxed stay.

I booked the regular twin room for 2 people with hot spring inside the room. unfortunately the room is so small that you can't open our luggage. had to put all the furniturea inside the room in the toilet in order to open one suit case. it's fine if you have a backpack. oher then the room size everything is great.

The room was small. There was quite a bit of condensation in my room - it started dripping water 💦 The hotel charged extra for a small child even though he did not use an extra bed.

The rooms really are small but well equipped and very comfortable. There was a lot of building / road works going on at the time , did not really affect us other than not being very aesthetic.

Delightful Staff who went out of their way to be helpful. Fantastic free transfers to local stations on request and they even fetched us from the airport when our car hire went wrong . The private onsen was wonderful. Meals were really excellent . Don’t miss out on these

Very authentic Japanese onsen hotel with amazingly kind staff, brilliant food in their restaurant and private onsen!! It is located in a beautiful space surrounded by the mountains. I wish I stayed longer, it was truly an amazing experience and so relaxing.

- The only complaint would be how cramped the room was. Not great if you have a lot of luggage. We made it work for the one night, but would have loved a bit more room to walk around.

- SO. NICE. to have an onsen in your room! At such an affordable price too. The size wasn't bad either, with room to stretch out your legs. You can also adjust the temperature by adding cold water, which is a nice touch for people who prefer less scalding baths. - The bed and pillow were so comfortable. Everyone slept great, it was absolute heaven. I liked both so much that I asked for the hotel for the company and name of each products. - In every interaction the staff were very kind and accommodating. I will say that the Walkie Talkie left out for calling the front desk after normal hours didn't seem to work, but I was able to flag someone down anyways so not too big of a deal. - When we stayed, you got a discount coupon for drinks by adding the hotel on LINE. My friends and I were able to use an annex building to relax, drink, and play card games since there is no space in the rooms themselves. - Location isn't too bad either. We went to Kirishima Jingu the next day, which is only about 20 minutes by car. - Breakfast buffet was decent, not great though. - Overall, I would love to stay here again. I would just make sure to bring less luggage, maybe my own breakfast, and leave as much time as possible to relax in the room/onsen!

Navigating to the hotel is a bit iffy. The shortest path from the main road is a narrow bridge which is a bit too tight for larger cars. You'll need to branch off earlier and take a back alley.

Watching the stars while sitting in your own little onsen with your partner is quite lovely.
