Best location, near to port, info centre, bus stop, and only "real" supermarket in town. Really liked the Japanese style of the whole house, not justy room. Kotchen spacious and well equipped. Host flexible with check-in.

It’s quite cold but there was a heater in the room so not too bad.

The staff is very friendly. Supermarket was nearby so it’s quite convenient. There was a small kitchen for use which was really helpful.

In the port, right next to the ferry, private rooms with working tv, ac, tatami and fouton, equipped communal kitchen for cooking, good spot to explore the island.

Good location, clean, comfortable and the hosts are very kind. The kitchen is well equipped with everything you need. And Moro the cat is very friendly.

This isn't really the owner's fault, but the reception desk is only manned for check-in during specific hours during the day. There is a sign posted that requests that you call the owner if you arrive outside of these hours, but this is a problem if you're not travelling with a functional roaming cell phone. I got help from another guest that had Japanese cell service, but do keep this in mind when arriving. Again this isn't really the owner's fault, this is a great place to stay and is highly recommended!!

The location's pretty great, close to Miyanoura Port, if you're arriving by ferry. It's a bit of a trek from the airport though, but not a problem if you have a rental car (which you really should if you're visiting Yakushima). It's within walking distance to a bunch of good restaurants, and the owners are really nice and friendly. There is also an adorable cat named Moro that lives on the premises and demands head scratches.

So close to the Miyanoura ferry port and the supermarket! So convenient. It is also close to the bus stop that takes you around the island. The room was spacious and with tatami mats! We had futons which were very soft. The room had a small table and a mini fridge, el keddle and hair dryer! Towels and slippers were provided! It was easy to do your laundry and a kitchen were available for cooking! Staff were very friendly and helpful and Moro-chan (the cat) was so cute! Daily energy booster. Definitely recommend staying here especially if you don't plan to rent a car! You have access to everything within walking or bus distance

Very good location from a practical perspective. Also very calm and you have all you need, including kitchen and laundry machine. The Japanese room was nice and clean and bright with a big window. The staff was very calm, gentle and helpful. Would like to stay again. Especially in connection to arriving/departing from Miyanoura port.

near from Miyanoura port,Yakushima Environmental and Cultural Village Center. you can use kitchen,refrigerator,rice cooker. private room & bed sheets and the sink and basin areas are clean. I could sleep soundly. you can go to supermarket by walk(5minutes). after 7pm,I could self-check-in.

The location is perfect if you are arriving in Miyanoura by ferry at the port,; it was less than a 5 minute walk! After check in, the staff gave me.a quick tour and showed me how to operate different things like the water heater or unlocking my bedroom.

I slept very well here, it was calm and the room was nice and clean. There were extra things like drip coffee bags in the room, which I really appreciated. The location was great as it was next to the ferry, bus stop, supermarket, and tourist information, where I got the island maps, bus schedules etc. The staff was really friendly and helpful. All in all, it was great value for the price. I hope I can return one day!

You can't beat the location of this little guesthouse, just two minutes walk from the ferry. Very helfpul host. Comfortable rooms, more like a youth hostel than a hotel but very nice nonetheless.

Very cute and simple accommodation right next to the harbour, the tourist information and bus stops. The shared bathrooms were always clean and the kitchen equipped with all kitchen utensils we needed. The host is very friendly and attentive. We would definitely stay here again.

For 5 rooms there are only 2 toilets (one for men, one for women) - you have to be ok to wait for your turn.

Rooms were nice, everything was very good. We loved it here. The host has a cute orange cat that welcomed us outside (it doesnt come into the house for people concerned about allergies). Yakushima was a magical stay for us!
