There are nearby construction happening for the rest of the month it seems. It is not too loud, but you can definitely hear it in the day time. It did not bother us since we were out all day, but please note this.

Amazing value for money. A very lovely hotel, big room for Japan and large toilet in room. The restaurant in the hotel is a MUST VISIT. So delicious, the sukiyaki is amazing and the beef curry is one of the best I've ever had. The room was stunning and had a beautiful entry way and display art. I loved this hotel very much. The rooftop onsen is also super clean, new and love view. Location wise there is nothing much in the nearby area, there is a family mart next door. However everything can be reached by either a taxi or some of the sights are about 15 - 20 minutes walk away.

I wish I had something to say. But this place was perfect.

This ia the place to be. We travelled all around Japan and this was by far our favourite place. Incredibly spacious rooms, a huge bathroom and super friendly staff. The biggest pro is the sentou (public bath) for the guests on the top floor where you can catch a view of Kanazawa. I definitely recommend coming up there at least once at night and in the morning! The moment I plan to return to Kanazawa I will return to this place.

Great location- walking distance to the Castle, Gardens (exceptional) and Art Gallery. Very close to the Market- ideal spot for lunch. Wonderful coffee at Cubby Hole - 5 minutes walk away. Excellent bars and restaurants in the side streets within 20 minutes walk. Lovely breakfasts with a wide range of food. We ate Shabashaba in the dining room one night. It was delicious, staff were attentive and the restaurant had a relaxed vibe. The Onsen was lovely to soak in after a long day of walking. Our room was clean and comfortable.

Size of room is ideal even for a couple & layout of room is thoughtful. Enough counter space to put our own amenities. Cleanliness is top notch.

Wonderful stay and highly recommended! Our room was larger than most other rooms we had during our 3 weeks in Japan which was a great surprise. The hotel is clean and fine with awesome public bath on the top floor and amazing breakfast. Next time I'll visit Kanazawa I'll be sure to come again.

Close to the tourist attraction and within 15 minutes walking from railway station. Didn’t use the restaurant but there were many eating choices nearby including the marketplace. Used the bathroom on the top floor.

There are tiny things that make it a 9 not a 10. Our room had only a small alcove to hang clothes and no wardrobe for luggage. Also breakfast is an additional fee, so we were inclined to eat at another place.

Everything was amazing, the public bath was great with great views. The rooms are VERY comfortable and the beds are great. Even the pajamas make you feel comfortable. The staff was friendly and able to accommodate English. The furnishings in the room and the hotel in general are very simple but elevated. This was an excellent hotel. I would 100% book again.

We stayed in a moderate twin room and were quite happy with everything - space, table and chairs, nice and good size beds, bedding and mattresses. The reason we chose the hotel was a spa/onsen with a view and it did not disappoint. Staff was attentive. Happy to stay again.
