The hotel is located in a side street and is a bit of a walk from the main sightseeing. Though we ere there only for 1 night we found limited eating options for breakfast around the hotel.

Mitsui is a boutique hotel with nice rooms. The rooms are small but spacious. The staff was very helpful throughout our stay and speak very good English. All kinds of amenities are provided in the room which was very helpful. Each room has a separate AC Unit which was very helpful as weather in Kyoto was very warm during our stay.

The breakfast room is not too big given the number of customers Food choice could be improved. Especially having only one espresso machine is far of being sufficient. Rooms are not very spacious.

Good tourist and business hotel close to a main street of Kyoto. Bus stop or metro station are at walking distance. Staff is polite and helpful.

Loved that this property provided an onsen as well as a buffet style breakfast (for an additional fee). The staff were excellent and so helpful! They gave us all the information we needed to make the most of our stay. Our room was a bit smaller but still very clean and comfortable. It was so nice to be able to use the tv program to know the onsen capacity before going down to use it. The location was also great, allowing us to easily navigate to the transit system. The restaurant options around the establishment were also really delicious. Overall, it was a lovely hotel experience!

Excellent place for a visit to Kyoto. The location is not central, but good value for money covers it. We didn't taste the breakfast due our love, but I have visited the bath and it was the perfect day end. Highly recommended place !

Bathrooms a little small, but had all you needed.

Great location. Nicely sized rooms for Japan. Breakfast option decent with both Asian and non-Asian options. Onsen was a nice bonus. Staff were very polite and attentive. Good bus options around the hotel to most attractions. Plenty of convenience stores and 2 supermarkets within a 2 minute walk from the hotel.

Rooms could be bigger, but this wasn’t a major issue. A small ask would be to have access to YouTube/ Netflix as it helps with the wind-down after a busy day.

Location was great, 7/11 was around the corner and not far from a couple of stations and the main strip. Would recommend.

Our room was not very clean, lots of old rubbish and tissues under the bed. Washing machines are useless, lucky there is a laundromat less than 50 metres down the road where I had to take my dripping wet clothes to dry after 2 hours of washing

The coin laundry was less than optimal. Few machines, dryer took over 2 hours for a light load and still load was damp.
