We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

AustraliaI went off season, so it was too quiet. It was way too quiet so it became slightly less like a holiday atmosphere. But the staff were amazing people.
The staff were really nice. I really like this place because of the staff. They went above and beyond for me. Also definitely a good stop if you're doing the kurobe alpine route.

We enjoyed staying here before doing the Alpine trail the next morning. The staff were very helpful, our Japanese-style room was very comfortable, and the Japanese dinner and breakfast were great. The transfer from the station was very quick and easy to arrange

JapanIf you are going here, come with family or pay careful attention to the season. In the winter skiing is pretty much the only entertainment. Summer has a lot more things to do. Also, due to covid some of the hotel's premium services are suspended so take care to ask in advance before you book. Hopefully some of those will be back again soon.
Amazing facilities and baths. Included food was a several course meal variety with lots of local delicacies. Staff was super kind and helpful and went out of their way to improve my stay. They arranged cars and shuttles to get me through the snow to the train station and went above and beyond to help me when I had special requests.

AustraliaFuton beds are not for us. If they had the option of a normal bed we would not hesitate in coming back in the future. Shower was not good. Pressure very hard and like needles.
Location was prefect for visiting the Kurobe Alpine Route. Dinner and breakfasts are included which are traditional Japanese. We were expecting breakfast to be a buffet style as per the photos and didn't enjoy the set Japanese menu first morning. Felt wasteful as we didn't enjoy it at all. If given the option for Western breakfast at check in would have selected for both mornings, second day was lovely. Dinners were very nice, used google translate to decipher menu, only to have an idea what we were enjoying. There is also a lounge with complimentary hot and cold drinks available all day and into the evening.

we took the half board option and the private dinner and breakfast room was amazing. the property is very kids friendly and a big playground.
