Only small issue is that check in is at 4pm, but this seems to apply to most accommodations in Hakone.

The property manager was extremely friendly. He provides lots of tips on what to do not just in Hakone, but also on how many days to spend per city. He is also very generous and it has been our pleasure and joy to speak to him!

It was located in a quiet and peaceful area. The room was very clean, and spacious. The onsen, though small, was comfortable and lovely. The hotel manager really helped by recommending an itinerary and provided us with a lot of useful information. He was also a lovely man to have a chat with. Very kind and considerate.

The host went above and beyond in every way. From giving me directions on the route I should take to explore, to recommending restaurants, and advising on alternative modes of transportation. Additionally, the place is immaculately clean and the bath was lovely. I would highly recommend for any traveler.

The cleanest property we have ever stayed at in Japan. The rooms were very comfortable and the onsen was very nice to use. Location was great - close to bus stops and a train station, easy to get to Hakone landmarks. The owner was so accomodating and gave us many tips and advice for our stay in Hakone.

The property was like home. Nice, clean and comfortable. It was less than ten minute walk from the train station and very close to a bus stop. I had the onsen bath to myself. Glad the property owner gave some advice to go out and do the Mt Fuji tour that day when the sun was shining so bright. True enough when we woke up the next day it was rainy and very cloudy.

The Hosts were wonderful to meet, very helpful in terms of recommending things to do around Miyanoshita, places to eat, ect. The Ryokan was simple, but clean and comfortable and the onsen was a great addition! The place is easily accessible from the train station. I hope to come back one day soon!

The place was quiet and within walking distance to the train station. I had the onsen to myself and it was very relaxing. The Innkeeper advised us to view Mt Fuji that day as the following day would be rainy and cloudy. Good thing we followed as he suggested. Bus stop to Lake ashi was just nearby. We had a comfortable stay here.

Very nice private and natural onsen bath. Nice rooms ans comfy beds. The owner is very kind and had good tips for our stay. We stayed 3 nights. There is an bus stop and train stop near by. There isn't any breakfast but we got Onigri from 7 Eleven which was good. The owner servers tea and coffee. We can recommend to stay in this Ryokan.

This is a wonderful ryokan with a natural spring onsen. The owner is SO incredibly friendly and welcoming. He is a pleasure to talk to, and he helped me with directions and planning. My room, the restroom, onsen, etc, were very clean. I enjoyed the ability to change the color of the lights in my room, itcreated a wonderful and relaxing atmosphere. I wish that I could have stayed longer. The location is great for easy access to onsen and the Hakone Loop.

Miyanoshita myojokan is a wonderful place to stay. Comfortable and spacious Japanese style rooms. The host is very friendly and provides all the help you need for your visit to Hakone. Miyanoshita is a smaller less busy town with restaurants and convenience stores making this accomodation situated in a great location. I couldn’t recommend staying here more highly. Thank you to our wonderful host. We will be back for sure!
