We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

JapanI did not like the parking facility. The building has a multistory parking but you cannot park if your car is any bigger than a sedan. They suggested we keep the car in near paid parking with full day parking cost and you cannot take it out before checkout unless you are okay with paying the full price again.

The location is amazing. Very near to Katamachi Bus stop. The bus stop connect everything within minutes. There is also a halal kebab shop 3 mins walking from the hotel.

New ZealandA bit outdated hotel as the room looked a bit tired. Still comfortable enough. We had an issue with booked parking as when we checked in we didn't get the correct advice resulting in an extra charge of 1800 yen for 2 or 3 hours of parking over the booked time. It was sorted but the hotel gave us a refund which is fantastic. The service was good.

United KingdomThe placed looked like a youth hostel when we arrived. We were placed on the same floor as a lot of youths. The room looked out on a wall and had unbearable noises coming from an air conditioning unit just outside. If you are given room 501.......ask to be moved straight away.
The WiFi worked well. The bed was comfy.

IndiaCharged more than the website booking price saying that local taxes are extra per person per day. Bed sheets were not changed.... found long hair everywhere on the sheets. Room was too small for two people. The bed is also very small and sliding one side....Surely not for two people. Carpet was not vacumed properly for very long. All the night we use to Coughing and sneezing. Next day after complaining only the staff made it clean. Surely not value for the money.

We loved this hotel. Lovely rooms, exceptional staff and convenient location. There was a miscommunication with the hotel about parking and they did absolutely everything in order to make it right. Australia* Our room smelt of smoke. * The hotel is run down and dated. * We wanted 3 people to stay in a room with 2 double beds. When we arrived, the hotel policy would only allow 2 people to stay in this room, forcing us to hire another room. * Price for both rooms was terrible value for money.
* Location was good. * Staff were lovely but inflexible with request which I assume is because of hotel policies.
